Before I go to bed and pass out, figured I'd upload this WIP.Using as inspiration (she is the QUEEN of backlighting things), I am endeavoring a whole new realm of lighting.
It was that sketch on the latest sketch dump I posted, before I decided to toy with it color-wise. Notice the lack of lines!
There will be real color, I swear, but there's just something...ethereal about just this much.
I rather like it, really. And the hair looks spiffy. 
Listened to "Mulan's Decision" and "Freedom Fighters" (by Two Steps From Hell) CONSTANTLY while doing just this lighting experiment. You can find both here:
