Drawn for the Summer contest of All-BLEACH-Fans of 2011, the theme being Summer heat.So what happens when a heat wave hits Seireitei?
Matsumoto customized her uniform and she's fine. Though she caused a lot of damage to the male population via nosebleeds, but that's nothing new with her.
Nanao, being always the lady, took a parasol, but it does her little good. She's still all sweaty. That the parasol matches her captain's pink haori is purely a coincidence. Or so Nanao claims.
Captain Kyouraku removed his shihakushou and walks around only in his coat and hat and underwear. Removing the pink haori didn't even cross his mind, though he's considering removing his captain's haori now. It's too hot to wear two layers of clothing. When Nanao pointed out that he was indecent, he told her that as long as he has his haori, he has all the clothing a captain needs. Then he suggested she should remove her shihakushou too, because she's hot. Nanao slammed him over the head and didn't bring it up again.
Captain Hitsugaya decided that a hot day isn't a reason to abandon his dignity and is now dizzy and had to sit down. He still feels like fainting. He's so sick he didn't even care about Matsumoto calling him 'poor little dear.' A trip to the Fourth is in order.

Okay, this picture is just too awesome, hilarious, and cute all at the same time! Poor littleShiro-chan, he doesn't do well in the heat. You know he's dizzy from the heat when he's not even feeling up to yelling at Matumoto for wearing that outfit, or what she said about him! And Kyoraku walking around like that, only he could pull that off. I wanna know if he'd dare wear that to a Captains' meeting. Still, it's amazing that he's still standing, that Nanao hasn't knocked him silly for embarrassing her in public. Hmmm, why DOES she put up with him, if not for secretly liking his antics?
You know this picture is screaming out for a fanfic, don't you? Don't you?! Please?! I can see the Captain's & Lieutenants' meeting, and it dissolving into chaos, nosebleeds everywhere. Poor little Hitsugauya getting dragged off to the 4th Division by Unohana for heatstroke. Unohana needs to prescribe him to indulge in his icy talents with his zanpakuto, for his health, and for everyone else's benefit, too.

I think Kyouraku would totally dare to come to a captains' meeting like this.
Nanao clobbered him, but he had developed a resistance to being smacked on the head. I don't know why does she put up with him either.

I think that Kyoraku has indeed built up a strong resistance to Nanao's little punishments, maybe he even enjoys getting a rise out of her. But I'd think he wouldn't enjoy getting punished by the Sou-taicho quite as much, would he?
As for little Hitsugaya, Matsumoto needs to lobby the higher-ups for air conditioning in the 10th's quarters...that, or else give Toushiro permission to carry and use his Hyorinmaru whenever he sees fit to cool the place off.

I'm working on it. I finally figured out how all the captains reacted to the heat. Now I just have to give it story form.
I think Kyouraku is one of the very few people who aren't really scared of Yamamoto.
Hitsugaya is a walking AC. He doesn't need another one.

She already did. It had no effect, so she gave up. Shunsui always does whatever he feels like and Nanao knows it.

I think Nanao is just too used to Kyouraku's antics to let something like him walking around in his underwear unsettle her. Though that doesn't rule out that she likes the view. She must put up with him for some reason.

She has several. Not only is Matsumoto dressed in something that doesn't really count as clothes, her captain is running around in his underwear. Her sense of dignity is never going to recover.

I agree. But considering he drinks sake like water, it might be hard to get him actually drunk. He must be quite immune to alcohol after 2000+ years of building a tolerance.
