au-dessous de mes reves .. underneath my dreamsand this is what it feels like....
the idea from this came from a dream..one of those that you want to awake from and cant.. inspiration is a funny thing..
instead of drawing it out on paper i drew it all in photoshop...
comments and a dream interpreter welcome..

i think if i could find ps7 for free i could actually make something decent.
you seemed to have done such a wonderful job with this, i mean, i am really amazed at how you created this from scratch and a blurred frame of memory, thats definitely talent. as for the interpretation?...the little ones look like slinked monkeys with ram horns. i think ram horns have to do with something like, erhm, aries, god of war maybe. they looked like something that would be very needy, seeking, gimmie gimmies and the larger one looks so fierce compared to the others, like its about to unleash a wrath, the little ones want. im not sure of any of it, but i do think it all has to do with needing/wanting something...very beautiful piece

My interpretation.
I love how the forms are undeveloped. It gives them the feeling of ambiguity. They way they are reaching toward the object at the top, them seeking something to hold on to and keep them stable, almost in desperation. The object at the top is the authority figure, something/someone to look up to. They are reaching for it, but it is not there to help. The tentacles have never represented anything good to me, and they would be tools used to harm. The innocence of the people on the bottom reaching for help and guidance only to be met by a hardened figure that will only take advantage of them.
/interpretation
The colors are a great asset to the piece. It helps set the mood of the piece. It seems that it is a work of emotion and you did not limit yourself in the creation. It seems very fluid. I didn’t read the other post so that I would not be influenced, but now I will.

after 30 some odd comments it's hard to find something new to say; something that hasnt been said; something that isn't a rehashed comment dropped out to my fingertips and pasted on to your screen... and that that is the beauty of this piece; it affords the opportunity for simplicity in complex gazing; for complexity in its unspoken harmony... it drips from your eyes and falls to darkness with bright spots flowing in between;
this piece is escapism... dreams.
so perhaps my interpretation lies in that from top to bottom your life goes from reality to dream to reality; and in those dreams you find solace; you find peace you find calm... and awaken to small tiny souls grabbing at yours... immersing you in their lives when you'd much rather live your own.
maybe im wrong. either way this piece is gorgeous...cheers

I don't really know what to say about your dreams.. I've learned to interpret most of my own dreams, but never been able to do well with others (I suppose it's because I know myself better than I know other people)..
It an extremely well done image and I agree with the comments stating that this would be excellent on a person's wall

This thing is absolutely magnificent. It's like these creatures are stretching out to reach something they can't even see, hence the blur. It's really beautifull. The colours feel so icky like the animals came from a sewer or something.

Wow, just wow. Looks like my dreams after I watch something like "Little House on the Prarie." J/K. Hehehe. Actually this is very very cool. I like how everything seems to flow together about to meet at the center. Great use of radial balance as well. The way the image is set up, it seems to draw my eye directly to the center where the white negative space is. Great job.

... the forms remind me of infant ferns in the forest, uncurling to reach for rare glimpses of sunlight... this is both delicate and striking, like images in a shadowbox made of tissuepaper...

interpretation will come as it sinks into me a bit...
my goodness. the blur is so perfect for the place where dreams live out.
they say in dream interpretation that everything in that dream is a (surreal) form of yourself. say, a tidal wave for example: that is the element of emotion that you are experiencing. eyes in dreams without walls...
the spiral forms in this are extremely symbolistic... I'm sure you know about that form though, and the ancient meaning to it. if not let me know and i'll explain further?

I dont like how at the top its blurred to the point of almost ruining the pic. Maybe work on adding something sharp that sticks out up there. Other than that a very cool and original abstract piece.
