I haven't had coloured pencils for years! Oh, how I've been missing out! XD

I recently picked up a set of them and printed off a couple of linearts to colour when it's hot - and it's pretty hot right now! (All my reference pictures are on my computer, so I have to have it on to draw... but it's been much too hot! )

I had fun with this. It's so different to painting digitally with a mouse - I can actually control my hand properly and how much pressure I use, and I can blend colours more easily! I wasn't really happy with my last digital colour, so I wanted to take a break - and now I have something to do during the heat, too.

Some of the colours didn't turn out properly - mainly the skin, and the light purple/blue on parts of the boot, so I'll know for next time.

I'll probably turn the computer off soon and continue colouring - I've only had it on for a minute and I want to turn it off!
