Sooo many details!
This took me quite a long time to do (and I got a headache from the concentration!
), but I'm happy with the outcome! I wanted to draw this because I really adore her outfit here! (Arina Tanemura is so talented!)
This is Haine Otomiya, the protagonist from The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross. The reference picture is from the introduction picture to chapter two in volume one.

Hmmm... I can't really remember, but I had a pretty bad headache after I finished this, probably from all the stripes! XD
The most annoying thing about it was the part of the skirt almost touching the edge of the paper in the bottom left corner - as I drew it in my sketchbook, the binder created a dark shadow over it when I scanned it and no matter how hard I tried to fix it, it still looked out of place! But at least it doesn't detract from the overall image.

I read this manga, thought it was great with all of the twists and turns and what not (Postman! Twins! AHHH!!!!) and this is the first time I've stumbled across a Gentlemen's Alliance picture, and I must say it's very nice!
You did a great job of capturing Haine's cuteness! Very detailed and nicely drawn.

I love this drawing! I recognized it right away xD GA+ was my first manga and it holds a special place in my heart. I almost regretted buying the last one a few months ago because it meant it was all over

Aww, it's over? I had to stop reading it because I was spending too much money on manga, but hopefully I can start again soon! I hate it when my favourite manga end, but I guess it's better than a series going on forever and never ever concluding properly? (Well, at least in terms of having to buy it, of course! XD)
I'll try to do some more art from the series, then, so that you can see it and feel the nostalgia!

yeah, it is a strange feeling... it sits in your stomach and works its way up until you get distracted by the manga right next to it on the bookshelf xD

No, no, I love Arina Tanemura's drawing style, so I'll definitely be going back to it at some point.
I guess that's the same with anything you like that ends and leaves you in an emotional state - you get distracted and forget about it until you see something that reminds you of it. And then the emotions come rushing back.
