Gift art for a dear friend of mine.Oh my goodness gracious, is that a background? Yessir! For once I tried my hand at a landscape background. It would have looked strange without it.
The dragon pictured here is based off of Azuregos, a dragon in World of Warcraft. That is why the colors are off, and is some of its design.
I love watercolor. Even though you have no control over what the water does to the piece, that makes it a challenge! And a fun one at that (some of the time, anyway).
Obviously, I have a LOT of room to improve, so please, critique this!

The background isn't bad...but it's quality is indeed visibly in contrast to that of the dragon...but you're awesome at dragons.
