Description i'll stop doing IR soon....just a fad i'm going through...don't think i'm improving much...not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Also think that maybe my camera isn't the best for taking IR =/ if anyone has an opinion on an Olympus E400 please share it

Shot in RAW with Hoya 72 IR filter, converted in CS5

Do NOT use without my permission

I really like how everything looks like it's crusted in snow! It's a really interesting look, I don't think I've seen many photographs with the same filter!

I agree with others, don't stop with IR!! This is great! Even though there is a lot motion blur I think it adds to the mystery and uniqueness of the scene! I have the same problem with my Olympus E500 (unconverted) with the long exposures. I can compensate somewhat with some very delicate and selective burning in postwork, but the ideal would be, of course to have a camera converted for just IR and do away with the long exposure (except to use it for special effects) ... some day ... some day!

Noooo don't stop doing IR ^^ !
You don't really need to set the aperture to f/22, f/8 or f/5.6 is enough and you won't have a hot spot in the center. Dou you always shot in raw ?

i never shoot in anything but raw these days. When i shot this i shot in shutter priority mode so the aperture was automatic...i think that might be where i went wrong -.-' thank you for pointing that out friend

Ohh, IR is just so pretty. I like the blur you have going here. Very nice composition and contrast in the warm shadows in the trees and cool sky and road.

nice work mate...only thing I see wrong is the amount of movement captured, all the IR shots I've ever seen are crystal clear... so I guess your shutter speed..although I don't know what I'm talking about, I just got back into photography after 20 years lol

yea the problem is im only using a filter so i have long exposures...and the british weather won't give me a still day ¬¬
