Description
One of my lovely epizodes from "The Stormchaser". I drew it for the contest on Bewd's community. Instruments - watercolour pencils, but I edited picture in Photoshop to draw some stars.The only assotiation with this moment is:

This is such a cool drawing! Stormchaser is my fave book of the series so far, and this is in my favorite chapter! Maugin and Twig are also my fave characters!! YAYY!!

Could ya explain why does Maugin have a freakin' COAT??? With freaking buttons... Ugh. Okay, okay, but the Mire mud was white... Still, not THAT white!!!

Каолин - белая глина, из которой делают фарфор. Она РЕАЛЬНО белая, как мука. Из неё даже пудру в эпоху Ренессанса делали. ^_^

Да, но топи - то грязь! К тому же, polluted грязь, то есть каолиновой она быть не может в принципе!!!

Может. "Polluted" - это ещё и загрязнённая промышленными отходами. Зола хорошо растворяется в воде - её вымывает. А всё остальное разложилось до первичной мёртвой глины. Когда глина рыжая или чёрная - это в ней примеси. А тут всё вымывает и убивает. Химия тоже, знаешь, бывает бесцветной... (А уж как вонять эта белая глинка должна - страшно даже подумать...)

wow xanth, i acctually though i commented on this allready but it seems i havent, its BEAUTIFUL!!! i wish i could colour like you! im terrible at colouring especially the shading colours, and the cross-- (doesnt know the word) is superb!, but i have one question
do you get the same result when you use water colour pencils and normal colour pencils? or do you have a slightly creamier result when you use normal colour pencil (especially faber castell)

Water colour pencils have more rich colour. Normal colour pencils are colourless and they are hard, I don't love them.
