You'd be surprised what you could fix with ductape.
I fixed my old Smartphone with ductape and carboard. True story. 
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β ...I'm not even joking, the headphone jack was broken so I'd only have sound on one ear unless I bent the headphone plug in a certain direction, so I "constructed" something out of carboard and ducktape that held it there. :-P
