So today's my mother's 62nd birthday!

I'd like to take this opportunity to write a few words about my amazing mother...
Mom, you've always been an inspiration for me. You are one of the most beautiful, strong and optimistic women I have ever met in my life. You went through many hardships yourself, even before I was born and you never gave up. You're always trying to see the good things in life, even when it gets really tough and almost unbearable to keep moving.

And you have always stuck by my side. No matter how many times I have already failed in my life... no matter how many times I was almost giving up... No matter how many times I fell into the depths of my depression, you NEVER let me down. You always believed in me. You always encouraged me to get back up and keep trying. Even now... Having almost literally a knife pointe at my neck, you believe in me. You always believe I can make it. You put so much effort and work into helping me, it's insane! A lot of days I sit by myself thinking how I don't deserve your kindness... how I don't deserve your efforts and how I always disappoint you no matter how hard I try... But you never told me such things. You always told me how proud you were. And I want to continue to make you proud, I hope you know that...

I'm sitting here, writing this little text with one or the other tear running down my cheek... because I can't properly express how thankful I am to have you as my mother... How thankful I am, every gosh darn day, for your efforts and countless hours you invest in helping me... And one of my many goals as your son is that I want you to know that I want to make you proud... I know I am not easy to live with and I know how mean I can sometimes be... So- ... thank you for your patience, strength and kindness... Thank you for being you. Thank you for bein my mother... ♥
