Holy CRAP I should of finished this sooner. I have NO IDEA why this took me SO DANG LONG to finish! I guess it's because of all the details I added into this. I'm pretty damn proud of how this came out, though, despite how long it took. It was also very fun to make as well.

So, yes, I redesigned Scorchy AGAIN. This time, I made some tweaks to her original design. Yes, she has her black body again. I prefer her with this body color tbh. She does not suit brown at ALL. I tweaked her gradients a little bit from her original design. They're still as white as my skin, but this time, I also added an outline gradient color corresponding to the color of the gradients of her hooves and to her horn as well. I added her smokey eyes, since I really like her with smokey eyes. I also added her firey hooves again, since she looks good with them. I added her white torch holder that she had last time and I also tweaked the colors of the torches. I added more details to the little flames she has and made them look identical to how Minecraft fire from a torch looks. Finally, I edited her mane style by a LOT. This time, I only have an orange and yellow gradient in it, and there's no red at t he bottom of her mane anymore. It makes it easier for others and especially for myself. I hope you like her new design, because I really do! This will be her permanent design. I love her new design so much though, omg! <3333

By the way, her eyes are NOT SPARKLY. This is just a part of the style. I repeat, her eyes are NOT SPARKLY! They DO have the flames in them, though. This is a part of the species! I've been experimenting with base edits as you can probably tell. I'm trying to find a style to fit what I would like, and I think that this matches that critera. There's not anything on this base edit that I'm NOT proud about! c:

So, let's talk about the way I edited the mouth. You see, I normally don't like to edit the mouth to be like that (it looks waaaaaaaaay too strange for me), however, this was an exception. I think that it actually looks really nice for a base like this, and it fits Scorchy pretty well so alas, most likely the only 1-pixel base edit that you will ever see with the mouth not connected to the nose! I may change my opinion over this thing over time, but as of now, I only think it suits bases like this.

I honestly can't really say anything else about this that I haven't said before. I just really like how she came out.

Scorching Torch met Chama Lune after she had met Lantern Lights, although it was a while before Chama Lune had even came to life. Scorching Torch was roaming around the Everfree Forest thinking to herself as she normally did, when suddenly, a mare had appeared out of nowhere in front of her. The mare had a blue body and a pink mane with a skull on her face. Scorching Torch had approached this mare. She was a Flame-Light Pony just like she was. Scorching Torch had instantly respected any Flame-Light Ponies since she and them share the same pain of living through death and then getting a second chance at life. Scorching Torch greeted her and explained to her what had happened to her. The mare didn't seem like she could open her eyes, but Scorching Torch didn't mind that. The mare introduced herself as Chama Lune. Scorching Torch and Chama Lune had became really good friends after a few years, but Chama Lune had gotten a coltfriend during her time of being friends with Scorching Torch. Scorching Torch felt an odd sensation of jealousy during that time, and she could even say she had a crush on Chama, which was unnatural for her. Chama Lune was the only pony who had ever gotten her good. After some time, Chama Lune eventually broke it off with her coltfriend and was devastated, coming to Scorching Torch for help. Scorching Torch comforted her and then admitted her feelings to her. That was when they became a thing. Now, Scorching Torch likes to treat Chama to nice things and is usually only as nice as possible around her, although she does let herself shine through as well. Scorching Torch is very protective over Chama and will do anything to keep her safe. She can also be very sexual with Chama, although they both enjoy it. Scorching Torch could happily say that she would never want anypony else besides her and that she loves Chama to death, almost literally. Scorching Torch likes to take walks with Chama, or go on dates with her, or learn how to cook like Chama does, or teach Chama some magic tricks. Scorching Torch also can't get enough of Chama's cuddles, hugs, and kisses. Not even a pony like her could resist Chama's charm.
Personality: Short-tempered, grumpy, stubborn, not easy to befriend, can be a really good friend if you give her a chance to be, cold-hearted on the outside; sweet on the inside, gets paranoid easily (burning out her flames can kill her, so she gets paranoid easily, especially around liquid), cares a lot for her friends that she does have, very active and adventurous at night, prefers the night, though she does appear outside during the day a lot, not afraid to say what she thinks, is a total bitch when you get on her bad side, emotional, thinks about her past a lot when she's alone

All of her years being lonely had gave her enough time to think about her life and her death. This is what made her become the mare she is today. She will never tell ponies she doesn't trust about how she died, but sometimes, she won't even tell ponies she trusts. She will eventually tell her friends, but it will be very hard for her. The thing she hates and regrets the most is not practicing that trick enough. She wishes she could go back to her old life but she knows she can't. Her life isn't all that bad, though. She has friends who care about her, others who look up to her, and she even has a marefriend. Of course, she never talks about how lucky she thinks she is, since she barely ever thinks this. Scorching Torch can get offended and annoyed easily, so others have to watch what they say around her in order to prevent her lashing out at them. Even with her attitude, she has a heart of gold on the inside of her. She cares deeply for her friends, "niece" (explanation of this is waaaaaaaay at the bottom), sister, and marefriend. She is very protective over them and will even go out of her way to risk her life for theirs. She is very defensive for herself but mostly for them. Scorching Torch gets paranoid very, very easily, and especially when it comes to liquids and water. She is like this due to her almost losing her life again due to her flames being put out by water. Scorching Torch lives in the Everfree Forest with her marefriend, Chama Lune. In fact, she lives in the Everfree Forest with every Flame-Light Pony, but she and Chama Lune are more isolated since they have their own place together. Scorching Torch also has a younger sister. She is very close to her and considers her as an actual sister even if they aren't related by blood. She cares about her sister a LOT, and she is happy that her best friend Lantern and her sister are in a good relationship. Scorching Torch is also very good with kids. Like, very good. She may not seem like the type of mare to get along with kids, but she is very good with handling them, even if she does get annoyed with bratty ones at some point. She loves her niece Fluorite Beam and loves to babysit her when she's able to. Scorching Torch is respectful to/has a lot of respect for other Flame-Light Ponies since she and they understand what death feels like and is and have been granted a second chance at a life.
Before Death Bio: Before her death, Scorching Torch was known as Fire Starter. She was originally famous for putting on beautiful shows of magic tricks pertaining to fire. She would always use different magic tricks that she learned, using fire. She would do stunts, magic tricks, and just make beautiful images using fire. In her free time, she would play Minecraft (or Ponycraft), making her way through the game to get to the Nether, her favorite place in the whole game. Fire Starter specifically loved one thing about the game, and those were the torches it provided. She loved the lighting that they provided when she placed them down in a dark cave. It made her feel calm, peaceful, and at home. When Fire Starter wasn't putting on shows or playing Minecraft, she would usually be hooking up with some stallions, and possibly some mares. She was very picky with her choices and usually only chose those who appealed to her taste. These relationships she had had never lasted that long, of course, but Fire Starter was known for being quite a romantical mare and could get dates easily. She was more of an arrogant lover than a seductive lover. Speaking of arrogant, she was exactly that. Fire Starter was very proud of her abilities and would even boast and brag about it at times. She was usually a pretty understanding and nice mare, though, despite her arrogance and slight ego clouding her thoughts. She had practiced every trick very carefully and frequently, as these were very important to perfect, otherwise you would have extreme consequences. Unfortunately, there was one trick that she just couldn't master right. She hadn't perfected it before her next show, so she had to go with what she had learned during her performance. Unfortunately, this didn't end well for her...
Backstory/Fillyhood & Teenager (before death): As a filly, Fire Starter (Scorching Torch) absolutely LOVED playing with fire. She would always go out of her way or find an excuse to either see fire or play with it. She was a pyromaniac and absolutely proud of it. Even her parents and brother called her one. She loved when her parents had bonfires outside at night, since she was allowed to burn the things that they wanted burnt, and she would ocasionally poke at the fire with a stick or help move things around in the fire pit. Although she was an adventurous and curious filly, she was still pretty clumsy and her parents or brother had to save her from falling in the fires on multiple ocassions. As she grew older, she learned how to eventually be careful around fire. Her love for burning things and for fire in general didn't stop, and in fact, grew stronger by the time she got into her very early teenage years of her life. Since she was so into fire, her father had suggested to her that she should learn how to do fire magic. This intrigued and inspired her, and she decided to start studying different spells pertaining to fire. This led her to learn many tricks, stunts, and designs after many years of studying. On top of this studying, she had also gained an interest in magic, so she had also studied about magic spells. By the time she got into her middle teenage years, she was practically an expert with fire magic and magic in general. She was one of the more stronger unicorns in Equestria, and she was proud of it. In her spare time, she had discovered the game, Minecraft (or Ponycraft). She had tried it and was hooked within the first few minutes of playing it. She had instantly loved the game and even had a favorite item in it: that being the torches that lit up the dark caves with soft light which was very pleasing to Fire Starter. She would play this game in her free time and it helped inspire her even more to chase her dreams. Fire Starter's first performance was the one that was the most challenging for her since she was very scared for it. But, she had managed to impress the judges with her skills. She had gotten very good ratings and she even earned her cutie-mark from this. This had inspired her to continue on with her dream and this dream had proven to be sucessful! By the time she was finally an adult, she had gotten pretty famous for her tricks and spells throughout Equestria and made a living off of it. She was very happy to have achieved her dream goal. She never stopped playing Minecraft within it all too, since it had helped her achieve her goal and it was always fun for her to go around lighting up caves with torches and fighting things. Unfortunately, it came to a short end...
Death Story: Fire Starter was putting on a show, and one risky stunt was all it took to lead to her death. This stunt was a stunt that she had barely practiced. She couldn't improvise as one small improvision would mess her entire show up completely. She was very nervous for her show, but she had to go with it anyways. Fire Starter did perfectly. At first... She finally got to the trick that she hadn't practiced for because it was challenging. She stressed and strained to make sure she didn't set herself on fire. Well, in the process, she did set herself on fire, causing her to light up in flames. She heard screams of horror from other ponies around her, but she also heard her own screams fill her ears. She felt pain, and lots of it, since she was getting burned to death. She could see the yellow and orange fire in her eyes. The last thing she saw before she died was black smoke and then blackness. She had lost all energy to scream out in pain, and her vision started blackening. She finally got burned to death, losing vision completely and dying on the ground before she was able to be taken to the hospital. She woke up in the Everfree Forest, feeling different; way different. She went over to a water pool and had made the stunning realization that she changed form completely! Well, she had changed her name based on what she had now looked like. She had named herself Scorching Torch. However, she was not alone when she had woken up. After naming herself she had noticed a strange mare that had a black body and light blue mane, and had the same structure as her. This is how she had met Lantern. Lantern is the guardian of Flame-Light Ponies, and she is the first Flame-Light Pony to have ever lived. Scorching Torch was the second Flame-Light Pony to have ever lived. Well, the two became close and now, her spirit, now named Scorching Torch, roams around Equestria remembering the times where she was alive. This is what made her short-tempered, grumpy, and cold-hearted. Remembering her past -- she HATES thinking about her death. Her spirit now has a mane that is made of flames, representing her hair and hooves that caught on fire. Her eyes turned orange and yellow, representing the color of the fire that she saw before losing her vision. The smoke from her eyes represents what she saw before she was burned alive, and losing her vision. Her skin turned from white to black because of being burnt, which the gradients on her hooves and horn represent. Her tail burned off completely, and it turned into a torch light-source, which she did specifically herself to represent her favorite thing in Minecraft/Ponycraft. She got a hole burned into her chest with a flame in it, representing the way she died. She doesn't like befriending new ponies because she prefers to be alone, and she doesn't want to tell them about her past, since she doesn't want to remember her death. If she does happen to make new friends, she tries to avoid telling them about her past, but will only tell them if she trusts them and/or if she feels ready to. She herself doesn't know how long her spirit (or herself) have been roaming Equestria for. She says it's been years, but she can never clearly tell.

In fact, she lives in the Everfree Forest with every Flame-Light Pony, but she and Chama Lune are more isolated since they have their own place together. Scorching Torch also has a younger sister. She is very close to her and considers her as an actual sister even if they aren't related by blood. She cares about her sister a LOT, and she is happy that her best friend Lantern and her sister are in a good relationship. Scorching Torch is also very good with kids. Like, very good. She may not seem like the type of mare to get along with kids, but she is very good with handling them, even if she does get annoyed with bratty ones at some point. She loves her niece Fluorite Beam and loves to babysit her when she's able to. Scorching Torch is respectful to/has a lot of respect for other Flame-Light Ponies since she and they understand what death feels like and is and have been granted a second chance at a life.
Before Death Bio: Before her death, Scorching Torch was known as Fire Starter. She was originally famous for putting on beautiful shows of magic tricks pertaining to fire. She would always use different magic tricks that she learned, using fire. She would do stunts, magic tricks, and just make beautiful images using fire. In her free time, she would play Minecraft (or Ponycraft), making her way through the game to get to the Nether, her favorite place in the whole game. Fire Starter specifically loved one thing about the game, and those were the torches it provided. She loved the lighting that they provided when she placed them down in a dark cave. It made her feel calm, peaceful, and at home. When Fire Starter wasn't putting on shows or playing Minecraft, she would usually be hooking up with some stallions, and possibly some mares. She was very picky with her choices and usually only chose those who appealed to her taste. These relationships she had had never lasted that long, of course, but Fire Starter was known for being quite a romantical mare and could get dates easily. She was more of an arrogant lover than a seductive lover. Speaking of arrogant, she was exactly that. Fire Starter was very proud of her abilities and would even boast and brag about it at times. She was usually a pretty understanding and nice mare, though, despite her arrogance and slight ego clouding her thoughts. She had practiced every trick very carefully and frequently, as these were very important to perfect, otherwise you would have extreme consequences. Unfortunately, there was one trick that she just couldn't master right. She hadn't perfected it before her next show, so she had to go with what she had learned during her performance. Unfortunately, this didn't end well for her...
Backstory/Fillyhood & Teenager (before death): As a filly, Fire Starter (Scorching Torch) absolutely LOVED playing with fire. She would always go out of her way or find an excuse to either see fire or play with it. She was a pyromaniac and absolutely proud of it. Even her parents and brother called her one. She loved when her parents had bonfires outside at night, since she was allowed to burn the things that they wanted burnt, and she would ocasionally poke at the fire with a stick or help move things around in the fire pit. Although she was an adventurous and curious filly, she was still pretty clumsy and her parents or brother had to save her from falling in the fires on multiple ocassions. As she grew older, she learned how to eventually be careful around fire. Her love for burning things and for fire in general didn't stop, and in fact, grew stronger by the time she got into her very early teenage years of her life. Since she was so into fire, her father had suggested to her that she should learn how to do fire magic. This intrigued and inspired her, and she decided to start studying different spells pertaining to fire. This led her to learn many tricks, stunts, and designs after many years of studying. On top of this studying, she had also gained an interest in magic, so she had also studied about magic spells. By the time she got into her middle teenage years, she was practically an expert with fire magic and magic in general. She was one of the more stronger unicorns in Equestria, and she was proud of it. In her spare time, she had discovered the game, Minecraft (or Ponycraft). She had tried it and was hooked within the first few minutes of playing it. She had instantly loved the game and even had a favorite item in it: that being the torches that lit up the dark caves with soft light which was very pleasing to Fire Starter. She would play this game in her free time and it helped inspire her even more to chase her dreams. Fire Starter's first performance was the one that was the most challenging for her since she was very scared for it. But, she had managed to impress the judges with her skills. She had gotten very good ratings and she even earned her cutie-mark from this. This had inspired her to continue on with her dream and this dream had proven to be sucessful! By the time she was finally an adult, she had gotten pretty famous for her tricks and spells throughout Equestria and made a living off of it. She was very happy to have achieved her dream goal. She never stopped playing Minecraft within it all too, since it had helped her achieve her goal and it was always fun for her to go around lighting up caves with torches and fighting things. Unfortunately, it came to a short end...
Death Story: Fire Starter was putting on a show, and one risky stunt was all it took to lead to her death. This stunt was a stunt that she had barely practiced. She couldn't improvise as one small improvision would mess her entire show up completely. She was very nervous for her show, but she had to go with it anyways. Fire Starter did perfectly. At first... She finally got to the trick that she hadn't practiced for because it was challenging. She stressed and strained to make sure she didn't set herself on fire. Well, in the process, she did set herself on fire, causing her to light up in flames. She heard screams of horror from other ponies around her, but she also heard her own screams fill her ears. She felt pain, and lots of it, since she was getting burned to death. She could see the yellow and orange fire in her eyes. The last thing she saw before she died was black smoke and then blackness. She had lost all energy to scream out in pain, and her vision started blackening. She finally got burned to death, losing vision completely and dying on the ground before she was able to be taken to the hospital. She woke up in the Everfree Forest, feeling different; way different. She went over to a water pool and had made the stunning realization that she changed form completely! Well, she had changed her name based on what she had now looked like. She had named herself Scorching Torch. However, she was not alone when she had woken up. After naming herself she had noticed a strange mare that had a black body and light blue mane, and had the same structure as her. This is how she had met Lantern. Lantern is the guardian of Flame-Light Ponies, and she is the first Flame-Light Pony to have ever lived. Scorching Torch was the second Flame-Light Pony to have ever lived. Well, the two became close and now, her spirit, now named Scorching Torch, roams around Equestria remembering the times where she was alive. This is what made her short-tempered, grumpy, and cold-hearted. Remembering her past -- she HATES thinking about her death. Her spirit now has a mane that is made of flames, representing her hair and hooves that caught on fire. Her eyes turned orange and yellow, representing the color of the fire that she saw before losing her vision. The smoke from her eyes represents what she saw before she was burned alive, and losing her vision. Her skin turned from white to black because of being burnt, which the gradients on her hooves and horn represent. Her tail burned off completely, and it turned into a torch light-source, which she did specifically herself to represent her favorite thing in Minecraft/Ponycraft. She got a hole burned into her chest with a flame in it, representing the way she died. She doesn't like befriending new ponies because she prefers to be alone, and she doesn't want to tell them about her past, since she doesn't want to remember her death. If she does happen to make new friends, she tries to avoid telling them about her past, but will only tell them if she trusts them and/or if she feels ready to. She herself doesn't know how long her spirit (or herself) have been roaming Equestria for. She says it's been years, but she can never clearly tell.

-She is shorter than the average mare, and is usally shorter compared to most other mares. She hates it when it gets mentioned.
-Her sister is based off of a Redstone torch from Minecraft. She has not been introduced yet.
-Scorching Torch was originally asexual and aromantic before Chama Lune came around.
-She still thinks lovey-dovey things are cheesy and cringe-worthy, even if she expresses it towards Chama.
-Scorching Torch's magic glow color is the same as her eye color.
