Whoa it took me 'bout a time!The main nebula in the center started as a practice much time ago and a while ago I decided to refine it and make a good nebula piece. As it was a refining process of a "primitive" nebula, it didn't end so good, but I'm quite proud of this, specially the upper part, wich was made lil time ago.
STATS:
PSD Size: 381.7 mb
Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 & 3DStudio Max (asteroids), no tablet
Time Taken: more or less 10 hours, working in and off during around 3 mounths
Original Size: 3200x6500px

Incredible work. The detail in the planets, the asteroid rings, the glow of the nebulae on the planets, the starships...amazing. The hard edges in the nebulae are as if the walls of the universe are exploding. Great work.

Well done my man! The only thing that bugs me a little is those four asteroids lined up in a row by the large planet but that's just my brain teasing me. I love the contrast and color tones. What can I say...

Well they came like randomly on the render... (I start flipping crazy random asteroids groups, get a nice view and render. thenn in photoshop I make the final touches to insert on the image. usually I render a lot fo then and channging colours etc. I see wich one fits better)

It's not really that big of a deal; like I said it's just my brain teasing me. They caught my eye is all and I don't think it makes any difference in the big picture. Up to you...I'd probably leave them alone.

this is excellent. The ring adds nice perspective to the piece. The nebula is great in some parts, but then occasionally it looks unfinished. However overall, fantastic work.
