are catepillars bugs? I never thought of them as bugs

well, technically there is a certain goup of insects, including stink bugs, box elder bugs, wheel bugs etc, which are considered "true bugs" you can identify "true bugs" by the x patern formed by their wings. caterpillers are actually lepidoptra, which is the category for moths and butterflies. but I have 5 kids and work at an elimentary school, so the people I hang out with call all insects spiders and other small creepy-crawlie things bugs. my apopogies, I should have called it an insect instead

The colors on the catepillar are amazing ! Yellow-black-white....it's an odd mix and it sure jumps out of the picture like this. The natural green colors around it are peacefully. Good job on this one !!

Great shot as usual. I love how your camera expresses colours so strongly! And you're good at picking motives.

Crikey what vibrant colours
my only fault with this shot is its a tad overexposed and thus a bit too bright. However, its nice and sharp, and the DOF is spot on

Green space
one hope of life
colors hug the dream
and catch new emotions...
Slowly it goes like the perfum
and nows tell it was there alive.
So little and so strong desires
to grow and learn how to catch
the beauty sky of ower thoughts...

Great shot my friend...
