Agreed. She instigated things between them by following him on missions, and telling him he was too weak to go it alone w/o her watching, and saying he wasn't a warrior.

nope. she really was trying to pick a fight. They just automatically took nells side because thats what the creators WANTED. she was seen first, and she was made into a cute little kid, and she was portrayed as the good guy. the whole Nnoitra Vs. Nelliel thing was HORRIBLY skewed in her favor

Agreed. I hate NnoiNel. But I don't think I am biased. I believe I have just read the manga the way it was meant to be read. Then the shippers will say i'm narrow-minded, taking things to face-value, ect.
Heck, they're seeing thing not even there. I have written essays on lack of romance between Nnoitra and Neliel. I went back and studied every inch of the mana chapters they were in, so I wouln't leave out anything. A NnoiNel shipper will probably read, then come in bashing. lol Like it's my fault they're supporting a relationship with no basis.

well, you are right about them seeing things that arent there. when i ship a pairing its because i think they would be good together, i dont go around trying to convince everyone and their attack dog that its cannon and they have vision impairment. especially if i KNOW it has no base in fact.
thats what ships are supposed to be. For fun. The rabid fangirls suck all the fun out of it by telling everyone else that its their way or the highway. what people seem to have forgotten is that to the creators of the show, every pairing they dont declare cannon is pretty much a crack pairing. And its the CREATORS, how can you fight that?
