Description (I could post another drawing of Meggy. But instead, I’m going to post a drawing of a demonic eyeball with tentacles. Personally, I see Dharkon as the greater evil of the main antagonists in World of Light. While Galeem just wants to control the world, Dharkon wants to destroy everything and turn the universe into The Dark Realm. In fact, I’ve seen some interpretations of WOL where Galeem isn’t even evil, he actually wants to protect the world from Dharkon and needs the spirits/fighters to do this. My interpretation of this is basically the same thing, with one added detail: Galeem was created by an alien race as a living weapon of sorts to stop the threat of Dharkon. He fought Dharkon and imprisoned it within The Dark Realm, but feared that the magic couldn’t seal The Embodiment away forever. He decided that he needed to build up an army of fighters to help if Dharkon came back. Galeem discovered the Super Smash Bros tournament that Master Hand hosts every 4 years or so. He realized that the fighters in Hand’s contest would make the perfect army, but there was a problem: despite all his power, Galeem could not verbally communicate with the Fighters. He sensed that the prison was weakening and fearing that time was running out, he acted impulsively. Instead of contacting his creators, who would be able to explain the situation, he captured the fighters and made mind controlled clones of them. He missed one fighter, who went on to free the others. They fought Galeem, unaware of the situation that brought him into conflict with them. Just as they began to celebrate their “victory”, the sky began to crack like glass, a single inhuman eye stared out from the darkness, and the weakened Galeem could only watch as the monster he was made to save everyone from revealed itself to the fighters.

The Embodiment of Chaos and Darkness was free. And the contestants of Super Smash Bros were the only thing that could stop Dharkon from orchestrating the apocalypse.

Before you tell me, “if this is true, then explain the Light ending”, I know. If my version of the story were true, then Galeem wouldn’t take over the world a second time after killing Dharkon. This is actually an AU, which is connected to my Humanized Galeem post and the concept for Smash 6.)
