I know that these guys just got a redesign in ORAS, but I thought I'd try my hand at redesigning them too, in tradition of me giving every gym leader from every region a new look!
Nothing has changed in the Gym Leader roster, but I will give a rundown anyways!
~The first gym leader is Roxanne, an intelligent young woman who is the top of her class at the Pokemon Academy in Rustboro City; because of her innate knowledge and skill, she was awarded the position of gym leader. She specializes in Rock Type pokemon, with her strongest pokemon being Nosepass. She gives out the Stone Badge.
~The Island town of Dewford is the home of the second leader, Brawly. With his fighting pokemon Makuhita, Brawly trains endlessly both in his gym with extensive equipment, and surfing the waves. He gives out the Knuckle Badge.
~Wattson is still the third gym leader, in the ever expanding City of Mauville! Mauville has grown so large that the whole city comprises one enormous building! Wattson remains as youthful and fun-loving as ever, and has dreams of creating a Pokemon theme park in Mauville! He uses Electric type pokemon, his go-to being Manectric, and he gives victorious trainers the Dynamo Badge.
~Having become a Gym Leader very recently, the fourth leader Flannery has had a lot to deal with! Her and her fire-type Pokemon were vital in the aftermath of the Mt. Chimney eruption a while back, and prior to the eruption, she has had to contend with the constant presence of criminals like Team Magma! Her main Pokemon is Torkoal, and she doles out the Heat Badge.
~Gym Leader Norman resides in Petalburg City, which is the first Gym that aspiring trainers happen across, but Norman wont battle anyone until they have proven themselves by obtaining the first four badges. He specializes in Normal type pokemon, and he and his gym trainers all use special methods of status changes for battle. His main pokemon is the powerful Slaking, and he gives out the Balance Badge.
~The sixth Gym resides in the very remote town of Fortree. Especially with the extreme weather conditions around Fortree, sometimes the city is only accessable by air, which is how Gym Leader Winona came to be so adept with her flying pokemon like Altaria and how she is known to have 'become one with bird pokemon'. She gives the Feather Badge to victorious trainers.
~The seventh Gym in Hoenn happens to be the only double-battle style gym in the world! The gym is run by the twin leaders Tate and Liza and their Psychic duo, Lunatone and Solrock. They hand out the Mind Badge.
~The last Gym leader is Juan, who resides in Sootopolis City with his powerful water pokemon. Juan recently came out of retirement when his protoge Wallace, who had been running the Sootopolis Gym, was offered a position with the Hoenn Elite Four. His strongest pokemon is Milotic, and he gives trainers the Rain Badge.
