These are the current Gym Leaders of the Kanto Region!
~The first Leader is new, he is a young man from Viridian City named Tanner, who took over the gym after Blue stepped down to take the place of his grandfather, Professor Oak, as Kanto Region's Pokemon Professor! He stayed in the gym's tradition of using ground type Pokemon, and his main Pokemon is Sandslash! He gives out the Earth Badge to victorious trainers.
~The second Leader is Brock's younger brother Forrest. Forrest came into possesion of the gym in the Pokemon anime, when he defeated his mother Lola, who had turned the gym into a water Pokemon gym. Instead of running the gym himself, Brock is currently following his dream of becoming a Pokemon doctor! Forrest uses Rock Pkmn, mainly Onix, and he gives out the Boulder Badge.
~The third gym in the Kanto Region resides in Cerulean City and is run by the Sensational Sisters: Daisy, Violet, and Lily! Under the watch of their sister Misty, the three older sisters are running the gym in truth; instead of just giving out badges like they had done in the past. They have even become very adept at battling, and are proud to host the only triple-battle style gym in the world! The sisters specialize in Ice type Pkmn, with their trusty Dewgong in the lead, followed by Seaking and Lapras! They give out the Mirror Badge. Aside from leading the gym, the sisters are also the judging panel for Kanto regions Pokemon Contests!
~Erika has retained her position as the fourth Gym Leader. However, her city is no longer known as just Celadon City. Celadon is now one of three boroughs that make up the largest city on the planet, Prism City! The Kanto region has experienced such population growth that Kanto's three largest cities, Celadon, Saffron, and Vermillion, have merged into one! So, Erika leads the western borough, Celadon, with Vileplume and the rest of her Grass type Pkmn, and she hands out the Rainbow Badge.
~The fifth Kanto Gym still resides in Fushia City, in the capable hands of Janine, who still runs the gym while her father, Koga, is a member of Johto Regions Elite Four. She still specializing in mysterious Poison Pkmn, mainly Venomoth, and gives the Soul Badge to winning trainers!
~Lt. Surge had been promoted from the third Gym Leader to the sixth! He still resides in Vermillion, which is now Vermillion Borough, the southern portion of Prism City! He continues to use Electric Pkmn, with his powerful Riachu at the helm. He hands out the Thunder Badge.
~Also gaining a rank, Sabrina has shifted from being the sixth gym leader to the seventh. Her gym is located in the largest and most centrally located borough of Prism City, Saffron! She still uses Psychic Pkmn, her most powerful being Alakazam. She also still distributes the Marsh Badge.
~With her sisters running the Cerulean Gym, Misty needed another gym, and she found hers on Cinnabar Island! After the volcano erupted a few years back, Blaine had been running his gym out of the Seafoam Islands. Since then, Blaine has retired, and Cinnabar has now been rebuilt as a luxurious resort town over the now dormant volcano. Misty has moved herself and her Water Pkmn here, where she has gained notoriety as the strongest and final Gym Leader in the Kanto Region! Her main Pokemon are her trusty Starmie, and her powerful Gyarados. The last Badge given to hopeful trainers is the Cascade Badge!

*I gave all of these gym leaders my own re-design! I plan on doing all of the Gym Leaders from every region eventually!
*I do not own Pokemon or any character from it, the only Gym Leader in this artwork that is mine is Tanner, the rest come from official Pokemon games or the Pokemon anime.

*If you're confused about the 'borough' aspect. I got the idea from New York City, which is made up of 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Each borough is its own city, but they collectively make up NYC.
