So, this is my first upload! (on this account)

Since i've started watching Steven Universe in the past six months or so, i've started to think about my own theories and developed my own AU from this. I have a theory that Pink Diamond was an off colour. The other diamonds, White, Yellow and Blue, had intended to create their third diamond, Red Diamond. But something happened, and instead of Red Diamond, Pink Diamond emerged. This idea is based around the NFPA Diamond, where it consists of Red, Blue, Yellow and White. I've also heard this theory from a YouTube video too, but I can't remember which one.

Anyway, in my AU, Red Diamond emerged as intended, and everything was perfect. Red Diamond wasn't like how the canon Pink was treated. Red was treated as an equal diamond. She has a personality very similar to Pink, however. She loved jokes, games, music and was fun. But she also had a firey red temper. Her rages could shatter any gem. Her powers are based around fire.

Red Diamond had many colonies, just like how Yellow and Blue did. She was a good leader, and treated the gems of her court very well. She had her own loyal Pearl. (Who will make an appearance later) But once she was given the colony of Earth, she fell in love with the planet. Very much like Pink Diamond does in SU. She disguised herself as a common ruby soldier in order to explore more of the Earth. Like how Pink Diamond chose to live as Rose Quartz with her Pearl on Earth, Red Diamond chose to live her life on earth as Ruby, with her Peridot, who was at first, there to help with the kindergartens.

The story is, at first, very similar to that of Pink Diamond's story. Ruby led the rebellion, gathering other gems in order to fight the war. Red Diamond was 'shattered', and the other diamonds blasted the planet with the light which ended the war, but corrupted many gems.
The only gems that appeared to survive was herself, the fusion Fluorite (consisting of Sapphire, and Sapphire's ex-Pearl) and Peridot, who was close to Red Diamond, as she worked closely with her as her kindergarten technician on her colonies. They were soon joined by Jasper, who was a 'overcooked' Jasper from the Beta Kindergarten on Earth.

I'll expand on the story in future uploads, and I'll write a huge long document with the entire story. It will be similar to the plot of Steven Universe, but with some obvious differences. The Sapphire in the Fluorite fusion IS the same Sapphire as in the canon show. The Jasper IS the same Jasper as in the canon show, but there is a swap between herself and Amethyst. Instead, Amethyst is the powerful and strong gem, and Jasper was 'overcooked'. The Peridot IS NOT the same Peridot as in the canon show. Canon Peridot may or may not appear in this AU.

Please be respectful to my ideas. I know it's not the best idea, but I tried. I really like my AU. Still, let me know of any ideas that you may have, and maybe they'll make it into my AU!
