Description I know that everyone has a shot like this. So, i figured it was my time to put one up as well. Took this on the roof of my house, amid many neigbor's questioning stares.....

For those of you in colorado this shot is looking west (duh) and the hill with the Antennae on it is right behind Red Rocks.

There is no mid in the west of Colorado. Its all just West! Compare the cities, Denver is nothing at all like the cities of the midwest (chicago, Milwaukee, etc) There are mountains, cowboys, and almost no water in colorado. There are cornfields, mobsters, and the great lakes in the midwest.

Saying Colorado is part of the midwest is like filling your gas tank with gravel, It just doesnt work.

I like this, i love the shades of reds and oranges.. I dont think thats the view I could get of a sunset from my house, But Im sure i can manage a couple good shots. Very nice.

funny you should mention a calender. I have recently been working on a calender project of my own. hopefully I can get that finished in the next few months, but who knows, I may also lose interest by then.

Hmm I doubt I could get good shots like that from my house...(I live on the east side of downtown)...real cool shot though, it does look like fire in the sky (Cliche saying). I think a larger border would enhance it but not too large because the black trees sillohueted against the sky is great.

Enlarged the border by a bit. I think you were right, it does look better now... East of denver has some interesting stuff to photograph too. Glad you like it!

Some of those old brick houses are pretty sweet. And some of them have great gardens too. I really dislike taking pictures of flowers, thats why I need to do it more. Make it a challenge.

I tried taking pictures of flowers but my shots never came out right...then of course there is the Botanic Gardens, instant treasure of great shots.

I guess some of the old houses are nice...you take them for granted when you live in one.
