One of the things I've been anticipating so much for this nuzlocke is Cody. He's probably my favorite character already - he's based on 14-15 year old me, so I really relate with him.
Here's the memo where the first two parts are based on. (Cheren battle spoiler? Idk it's not that big deal anyway) Now you might notice something interesting about Cody that I totally made intentionally, and I'd really appreciate if you refer Cody with male pronouns.
I think I've been kinda sick lately, and it might be seen from this part - at least how some panels came out. I'm still pretty satisfied with the outcome (expect some panels with Cody, because how you draw Oshawott??? I have no idea), so it's probably not that big deal.
Also, I was expecting this part to be shorter, but it actually became longer than the first! Guess I wanted to give some room for Cody, because...y' know, he's great.

I like how Cody flings around his shell like it's a weapon. I mean, it is in a way, but it's just so adorable. Also interesting how Bianca got that mean old Tepig. Very interesting.

Oh my, Cody on ihana. Persoonallinen tyt-- siis poika. Ja etenkin kun Oshawott = Paras Unovan starttereista. Ihanan pörröisen ja saukkomaisen olet saanut moisesta aikaan. Ei virallisessa designissa ole mitään vikaa, mutta jotenkin pieni pörröisyys sopisi kyseiselle Pokemonille vallan hyvin. Mutta tässä sitä sitten pääsee näkemään yhtä suosikkistartteria oikein suloisessa muodossa. Mietin jo miltä Samurott tulee näyttämään, koska se jos mikä on yksityiskohtainen ja komia otus. Sitä odotellessa. Codyn taustasta saamme tietää varmaankin piakkoin jotain, hmmh? Jotain Bazookan tyylistä hänessä on paljonkin, mutta silti ero on huomattava.

Oh my! You're right, it is like a trope, all these feisty pokemon! That ending panel is so cute, I imagine that's how James from the anime gets to catch all his pokemon.

omg i LOVE the way you draw oshawott, it's so much better than the original design, you got a pretty much perfect mixture between cute and utterly badass! i also love how his face looks like an otter and how much expression he has, seriously, this design is so much better than the bullshit canon T_T

Joop, kun tein ekan luonnoksen Codysta 2011 (ei ole vitsi) niin päätin saman tien ettei sille tule sitä helevetin perunanenää. Tuli tuossa kesken tämän osan piirtämisen katsottua randomisti Blackin guidebookia ja siinä takakannessa olevaa virallista Oshawott-arttia "hyvä tavaton, tuoltako se näyttikin?" :'D
Tepigiäkin olen myös hionnut vähän omanlaisekseni. Snivy pysyy suht samana, mutta on hieman käärmemäisempi kuin virallinen. Muut Pokémonit tulevat pysymään enemmän tai vähemmän virallisen tyylin puitteissa.
