Hello again everyone,

How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! As I write this, I'm currently working on my painting for featuring Seto Kaiba and Serenity aka Shizuka as seen here:

At the same time, I've been working on the above piece for another good friend of mine, my friend Betsy. Even though it's another simple piece, illustrating the potential coupling of Seto Kaiba and Anzu aka Tea, it's gone through a bit of a process, namely in the expression on Seto's face. I wanted my friend to be completely happy with it, so I've made the changes to the work in accordance to her wishes as well as the comments that I've received on the sketches so far. In the end, she decided that instead of the first two versions, she preferred that Seto have more of a surprised or flustered face, as seen in the new version above. Oddly enough, it seems like there's a progression when tying it together with the other drawings. It appears as if Seto is initially shocked by Anzu's affections, he then calms himself, and then finally embraces and reciprocates the emotion. At least that's how I like to see it, given the changes that have been made so far.

Even though this seems to be the version that will ultimately be painted, if anyone has any more feedback on ANY of the works, once more, it would be greatly appreciated! Sometimes works that are simple can also be glaringly obvious when something is amiss so I'd like to avoid that if at all possible. Thanks so much everyone! Take care!
