Interesting bit of revisionism here. The ancient Egyptians were ethnically diverse. Just look at their tomb paintings. The artists depicted what they knew, and they saw lots of different ethnic types walking around Egypt. They weren't all Yule Brenner, but neither were they all Serena Williams types either.

Pharaos and queens were often depicted with blue eyes, but it was more of a symbolic colour.

This is how she's supposed to look! Despite that bust, which was found out to be fake on a side note, everyone has this whole idea about what Egyptians looked like all throughout history. They fail to remember that Egypt was in Africa and for most of its history Africans ruled there. Love this piece so much! Your amazing!

This series is sweet. Couldn't help but notice that Isis, Osiris, and Horus were missing. Not to mention Ramses. Great work. I'd love to see how you handle those figures as well.
