I remember seeing this in the Dungeon.
Loved it the, and fav'ing it now!
Formians and Doppelgangers are such difficult creatures to give a distinct personallity to, but this piece pulls it of nicely.

I really like this. The colors are so vibrant, and the piece has a great sense of atmosphere in general. The wide format really draws me in. I'll have to experiment with that sometime.

I'm loving the Formian workers and the Dopplerganger on the table. I like it a lot. I'll have to check out that issue. I only have a subscription to Dragon ATM, but I may go after Dungeon soon. Good job and keep it up!

Hey Phil. it's been going pretty good i guess. work kind of sucks right now. Haha I only get comic work at the end of each month and everytime it's a huge rush to get it done. + the pay isn't so great. So I'm probably going to look for another job later on

Yeah that will be cool man, Come by. I see Ed a lot. I'll start posting more, or trying to post more. The only drawing I've been doing is life drawing. I'll just post that stuff . Oh yeah I'm in maya, and it's going alright. Not as cool as 2d but the animation is fun. I don't know what else I want to focus on.

I was pretty scared it would turn out bad. I did at least 3-4 rough drafts and spent an entire day playing around before I got something solid down. I started to freak out cause my roughs were really horriblee.

Absolutely gorgeous.
I really love how the insectoid creature really pops out in the foreground, and then your eye is drawn to the zombie-ish being on the table, and then the freshest piece of meat being held ready for 'little tests'.
The see-through silkyness of the sheets on the table are very well executed as well.
Just everything, really.
If there was anything (since you have advanced critiques on) I'd pick a little at, is that I think darkening the far background some to match the floor closest to us some more would do some more to make the middle ground area and characters 'pop' just a bit more. In particular, mostly in the corner (near the middle of the artwork), where that pillar is, and maybe to the far left to center it all together.
The stone texture is really great, btw.

Omg This coloring is amazing!!! I know you want advanced critque, (and I hate one liner comments too so) but I can't see anything you really need to improve upon. The texture in the wooden table is just amazingly done and the texture on the alien's skin on the table is crazy! How did you get it like that? You should make a tutorial or something, it'd be pretty useful. Great job on this picture man, I'm devwatching you.
