Fantastic job! Are they Horus and Isis?

YannickBouchard In reply to lil-angela [2013-01-05 16:07:49 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! You're right about Horus. For the lady, I had in mind a princess or a queen, not really a deity, although it could be that as well. I intend my paintings to be opened to interpretation, so she could very well be Isis.

You're welcome. ^.^ I thought it was Isis because of the headdress. Anyway this is great.

Well thank you VERY much! I'll accept Egyptophile as a word without checking it, just for you!

Annezon In reply to YannickBouchard [2010-11-16 10:16:30 +0000 UTC]

You know you are an Egyptophile if:
"You can pronounce Hatshepsut.
You are convinced that there really is no mummy's curse, but you kind of wish there was.
You know that Tutankhamun was not buried anywhere near the pyramids.
You can picture exactly what Egypt looks like, even if you have never been there.
You know the difference between a coffin and a sarcophagus.
You know who David Roberts, Arthur Weigall, Alan Gardiner and Flinders Petrie were." (egyptophile.com)
LMAO...

Yep...that's me!!!! Anyway...now you see why I love "The Secret Mediator" so much!!! And I love your dream artwork and thoughts about dreams. Butterflies and cocoons were a good choice!!!
