Description
This was originally drawn for the independent kids magazine "Moo Cow Fan Club". The theme of the issue was Dinosaurs and they said I could draw whatever I wanted for the last page. I had really forgotten how much I loved dinosaurs as a kid so this comic really is about that revelation!Notes: Panel 2 is a reference to old school Nickelodeon commercials with claymation dinosaurs.
Panel 3 is a nod to Denver the Last Dinosaur an early 90's cartoon that was borderline lame/borderline AMAZING!
The girl in the last panel is sorta Yotsuba inspired--just cuz of the green really.

Hahaha, I love the kid likening a dinosaur comeback to other nostalgia trends. This is kind of like a Peanuts comic with a slightly more believable 4th/5th grade vocabulary.
I'd almost forgotten about those Nickelodeon dinosaurs!! Never forgotten about Denver, though, that theme song was one of the few things I downloaded off of Napster before the fall (on dial-up to boot!)
The first book I ever read was about dinosaurs, way back in kindergarten. I still remember that moment, reading for the first time, and that's why dinosaurs will always hold a special place in my heart.

I'm just sad the seasons are not being sold in Mexico, and so the DVDs my brother bought in the US don't have the mexican dub ;___; (and, you nkow, I grew up with it, so it's kind of weird to listen to the original voices)

Wow, my brother and his friend were soooo like this. They are 9 and 8, and they faught over something, and decided the next day they had acted soooooooo 'childish'.
Because they are soooooooo mature now.
It's almost like they dont make gun noises with their mouths anymore.
