this is a fanart picture I made for the german animation movie "Felidae" which I discovered on youtube there are some weeks ago and which for some reason, I totally fell in love with
The story is about Francis, a cat who has just moved into the neighborhood with his owner and who'll try to solve a series of cat murders. The funny stuff with this cartoon is that, despite of its rather childish look, the story is really dark, it's pretty bloody, cats speak a rude language and there's even a sex scene ( not very impressive but well, its always weird to se that in a cartoon)
So, here is Francis, and for those who have seen the film, you surely have already recognized the place and the man on the background

i saw that movie maybe a year ago. it was an upsetting and unsettling movie, but this is great fan art. truly.

Yeah, I must agree with you on some points, moreover I don't like the fact that Francis and Felicity are the only cats who actually look like cats, but well, a german movie, talking about experimentations on living beings, the reaserch of a pure breed, the mass grave scene, it's obvious to me that this movie referred to the events which happened during the World War II and as I'm from german/jew origins I feel concerned by this subject... but maybe also I didn't understand anything of this movie, because I didn't find a French version. Or I'm paranoid... ^^

Yes, I did, and I did enjoy it. I'm glad you told me that the worst was over so I wasn't afraid to watch it, even thought I still wouldn't advise that people with weak stomachs see it. xD

But I don't think I can bear to watch more after seeing Felicity's head ripped off and after reading the Wikipedia article and knowing that I'd be seeing dead fetus-cats.

oh girl, if you don't feel like watching it anymore, don't do, I have myself been pretty impressed by the mass grave scene, but I promise that Francis's nightmare and Felicity's death are the worst scenes (except if you fear cat sex ^^)and when I first saw the movie I didn't even notice the dead fetus, this scene is at the very beginning of part 5 on youtube, if you really don't want to see that, jump directly at 0:05
