I like so much that this is traditional art but also the research behind this. The leafs and the "flowers" remind me of my home in Greece. It also looks to me like yin & yang.

Thanks! To be honest... the heaviest part of this was selecting which flora to use and how to weave it together, out of a myriad of possibilities.  The research was kind of easy; I picked up several native flowers and leaves on campus. I didn't know there were bottlebrushes in Greece too!
