PERSONALITY
-- Ffrus is a bubbly and heroic boy- you can count on him to have your back. He is
responsible for his age, and looks out for Piu. He carries out his tasks with an
optimistic attitude, and doesn’t mind going with the flow, much like the water he
adores. In his free time, he can be lazy and procrastinate on his own tasks. Given
the chance to do so, he’ll always prefer to venture out to the ocean, either for a dive
or to harvest some seafood for dinner.

Ffrus is never shy about showcasing his skills and sharing his knowledge; he is
proud of what he is able to do. He can get bored easily so he’s always looking for
new things to do or ways to master his current skills.

His only downside was not knowing when to stop. Because of his dependable
nature, Ffrus is good at sensing people’s inner emotions, though he often
misunderstands the reasons behind those feelings. He will attempt to interfere
with their lives, and actively seeks to resolve issues by asking a lot of questions,
so he can be super nosy.

BEFORE TOFFEE TOWN

Ffrus was born with a strong affinity for water, naturally talented in all things related
to it, and lived a traditional life as a seafarer with his family. He loves all bodies of
water, calling himself a 'merman' in response to any praise of his skills.
Unfortunately, too soon was Ffrus left with nothing to cling to except his memories
after losing his family to their terrible fate.

Smiling, he turned his misfortune into gratitude for the people who had given him
so much since he’d arrived at the orphanage. He trained to be fit for the world,
while still trying to disentangle the younger ones from their past. The primary
source of his strength came from his dreams, his passions, and the promises he
made with his deceased father. He dreamt of someday returning to the sea to
ride the ocean waves like he’d promised.

One day, a pair of newlyweds came to share their tale of a little town by the hill
named 'Toffee Town' with the orphanage children. There was even a way to go
to the sea from there. Ffrus listened with fascination, desperately wanting to
travel there. Displaying that he was capable of making it on his own, he begged
the couple to escort him there. Given their approval, he shared the news with
his friend Piu. They decided to go together, and he promised that he would
look after her.
