Done. With a whole whopping 24 hours to spare. Hopefully this isn't too dark. I have a very good screen and I'm pretty sensitive to color changes, so it could be much too dark for regular screens and I not know it.
In any case. This is my entry. Technically there's two in here, but they kinda go hand in hand. I know nothing about Final Fantasy (lol) but I figured the left side armor is more like lower level conceptualization while the right side is like epic fantasy, fully realized hero kind of thing.
There's so many good pieces submitted to this contest, I'm worried that because this isn't as painterly/illustrative as others it won't win. But... in any case, I put in the effort, and I did it so that's the best I can expect from myself. Good luck to everyone else in the contest!
