Let me die now, please.Honestly, this has been one of the most tiring piece I had to do. FFFFFF COLORING. I SPENT PRACTICALLY TWO DAYS JUST COLORING. orz Half a day just coloring skin //cries so much
I felt like I had to relearn everything about colors because I was so sick of my old coloring style.
I know that this is still far from perfect but this is seriously one of the pieces that I seriously poured myself into. I had to consult so many artists to get things done - ~aozorize partially for the skin palette, Kazuki Yone (Hakuouki's artist) for skin palette and shading technique, and *Dark134 for shading technique. Even then I'm still very much lacking
Aaaand that's just the coloring process. Hnnng. Although just for the last input. The ball's colors is HNNNG. I'm not even sure if it's in harmony to the entire piece
I could go on and on about how much this art has tested my patience but I'll stop my rant.
This is actually not a piece for myself. Or at least it isn't fully (since I love Kuroko to bits). This is an art trade with the awesome ~FlowerKiss who I owe art to since last year. orz
Thank you so much for being patient with me, Tsuna! And I know that this doesn't look like the typical Kuroko at all since He's not exactly the type to draw such clothes but I selfishly wanted to do fairly bright coloring for once so... orz
I do hope that you still like it though *A*
Things to remember next time I draw:
-make shoulders more relaxed
-take better note of the size of the hands
-smaller head (though I tend to be cautious with this most of the time)

lighting and coloring critiques would be most welcomed as I'm having a difficult time grasping it fully

I've actually read an advice that pertains to this issue as of late. The person said that you shouldn't mind thinking too much as to whether you've improved or not. You just need to do your best in whatever you work on and I think that should work for me. ouo

I remember when I was young, I always felt 'so good for my age' but then as I started to get older it was seeming less and less impressive, and now it's like... I know a 12 year old who is like. the god of art descended from heaven. and I'm like nOOO I have to get better but it's so slow and sometimes, we don't even notice it at all.. orz but you just gotta keep going!

I found them to be the easiest and least taxing to the brain which is why I enjoyed painting them a lot *A*

Oh no. Not at all. It's a pretty simplistic background, really. I actually wanted to draw a basketball court for a background at first but that was before I started coloring. Afterwards, I just knew that if I proceeded with the basketball court plan, I'd end up being too frustrated with myself and my incompetence so I might end up putting it on hiatus. And knowing me, a hiatus only meant a really indefinite time of taking a break on a piece which can most likely last for months.

Inking really is a pain. Especially when you accidently leave the cap of your inking pen off for 5 minutes. They just dry out so quickly. 8A8 My hands tend to be wobbly too. Mainly because I think and concentrate too much, somehow. //shot

Oh I never really used an inking pen. Just my gel pen which I use for writing or a normal ballpoint pen.

Gel pen? *^* I love gel pens. They're just so easy to write with. 8D The pens I use for writing get stolen by other classmates often. OTL So I don't use them for inking.

Ah I only bring two gel pens to school. One for backup. Whenever I need to lend a pen, I give my friends a ballpoint one.
It also helps if you take off the cap and give only the pen to the person you're lending it to since it can help them remember that they only borrowed the pen.

Oh I had a professor who borrows somebody else's pen and file case folder of sorts. He actually was the one who taught us the pen cap thing so when he borrow a pen, he leaves the cap with the person lending it to him

He's a pretty awesome guy. Most of my classmates hated him initially because they thought he just liked to see us squirm but I always felt taht he was really nice. I mean he kept on consulting his girlfriend on what he should do so that we'd really learn. There was even a time when her girlfriend sat in class suddenly and I've had the nagging suspicion that he wanted her to observe our class dynamics.

Oh, I see! xD He really does care for his students. Although it may be strange for me to reference this, buut, it's almost like Midorima and Takao. Takao would be the girlfriend while Midorima would be the teacher. //shot
My middle school teachers were really weird. They were great teachers though.

Yep. My history teacher is the kind of guy that's really straight forward and says some ridiculous things to the point that he immediately gets you into the comfort zone. He gives out lots of advice too, teaches us quotes and there meanings in the first few minutes of the class, annd teaches us vocabulary words. That's why I know words like articulate, irate, meticulous, xenophobia, zeitgeist, and then other words that people in my highschool probably don't know. //shot
My English teacher often tells us stories about her everyday life while she teaches us something related to that story. She's quite funny.
My Algebra teacher often started screaming in class while teaching us because she gets so excited. //shot
I actually used to eat lunch with her because I liked how quiet the room is, and I'd show her some of my drawings since she does some art herself xD She reaaaaaaaalllyyy loves math, and she's sort of OCD, because one time she got these boots for her birthday, but she never worn them before because she's afraid of getting them dirty. She also remembers the exact day when she first ate wings.
As for my French teacher, she was just great at teaching, other then that, there wasn't anything that really stood out about her.
My Biology teacher also teaches normal Science for the un-advanced classes, so when ever we go to her class for Biology, she pretty much rants about how much trouble the students in the Science class gave her. She sometimes even starts crying, because some of the students are disrespectful and starts physical fights in class. OTL I was quite satisfied with my grade in the regents exam though, so I must have learned a lot without realizing it.

Oh, I see! My high school teachers are like that at the moment. Global Studies is going to be a pain though, because it's extremely hot in that room, and the teacher is pretty much bland. OTL
