But each chapter always brings about more questions than it answers. If it answers any. It's part of what I love but frustrates me. x'DDDD

I see those too. Or at least I see titles with Ereri or something like that and I just ignore. I can never really go and ship anyone with Rivaille. Perhaps I want him with myself? //shot so damn hard

Kidding. It's just that he's one of the people who just feels odd to have a partner. 

Although if I were to choose a person for him, that person would be a total slob and they would bicker so much because of his OCD. Pffft. Okay. I'm rambling now. //shot again

Well... considering that Eren's dad is a doctor and he was the one who injected Eren with something that seems to enable him to transform into a titan, I think that people turning into titans is actually an epidemic. It could have been some kind of superhuman experiment gone wrong or it could have been some nasty strange strain that developed due to various elements. Irregardless of the root cause though it was something hazardous that cause humans to turn into titans. And I reckon that all titans have humans inside. The only thing that distinguishes them is that there are actually people who have managed to take control of their titan exterior. I'm guessing those who can have chosen to become titans while those who can't are mainly victims of the epidemic.

I can see that. But Annie, Eren, Reiner, and Bert are all definitely different from Ymir, right? Do you think that has more to do with the injection? Also, have you seen some of the theories based on the scribblings on the cover pages of the novels? Where the writing was hard to read, but Japanese fans worked together to come up with understandable sentences. It seemed to be about the past and something about how humans didn't get along amongst each other, and what if there was something to unite them? Lol. Yet even though they united against the titans, they are still fighting amongst each other, with people taking superiority and such.
Maybe the wall titans were sacrifices of titans that actually wanted to protect humanity... |'D

Oh! What do you think about the monkey titan? Do you think he waas originally a monkey? Lol. But then he speaks human. I feel like his existence should be a clue, while also a factor to eliminate other possibilities. But IDK IDK. I'm so frustrated that IDK.

Hahaha. I like the maid gag ones. But mainly because I know they're all gag so it doesn't affect my respect for his character //shot

As for shipping him with Hanji, I can't, really. Or at least I can't now because I honestly don't like Hanji's voice in the anime and well as shallow as it may sound, it makes me like her character less. orz

I don't think I've seen them? I haven't been on Tumblr much and I reckon most of these theories crop up there. Mmmm. Humans not getting along with each other. That was something that Pixis also said, right?

Maybe Eren, Annie, Reiner, and Betholdt are the similar ones in the series. Maybe the latter three got injected by the same thing that Eren got.

I actually find it intriguing that Reiner and Bertholdt don't seem to show aggression towards Ymir even though it was shown that she ate one of their comrades. So I thought that maybe the moment they learned how it was to act as a titan, they realized that things are not always as plain as black and white and what Ymir did was not necessarily her fault. Hence also why Betholdt could only say that he pitied Eren. I mean I've seen posts of dislike towards the guy but we don't really see his side of the story. Maybe they're fighting for a noble cause in this whole thing and in the end the humans in control in wall Sina are actually the real antagonists. I mean we've seen Annie express how much of a farce it was that the talented fighters are being sent to the inner walls and that could be interpreted as something close to hatred towards the government.

As for the monkey titan... I don't think he's a monkey? Hahaha. Maybe he's a wizened old man or something. Or a scientist of sorts. //shot IDK.

And I'll agree to those three also being injected.

I've been thinking a bit about that too. Nothing is telling us we should root for the guys further in the walls at all. But it's somewhat hard to think anything noble about any of them when they don't act like they have a special cause so much. The recent chapters are just really confusing me because they seem to be saying a lot of dumb things. At least Reiner and Eren have been. |D

Lol a wizened old man. Maybe. He must be extremely old. But he was surprised they could speak the same language as him? There are too many questions. OTL

Oh I like Sasha's but Hanji's voice sounds odd to me. But it must really just be because it didn't meet my expectations. I don't know. I just expected something else.

Haha. It does have gorgeous animation. There we a lot of small things that disappointed me towards the end though. I didn't like how some of the best lines and scenes were destroyed because of the pacing - specifically my favorite lines of Rivaille and the end scene with the titan in the wall.

Oh are you reading the other SNK manga that popped up?

I kinda wanna root for the other cadets outside the wall. But at the same time, it makes me wonder why Irvin does follow the government (or society if it's more apt) if they aren't worth following. Then again, one of the recent chapters just showed us that he might just be hit in the head the same way that Eren was. Honestly, this series has a lot of nuts (and not the edible kind). //shot

Hahaha. Mmmm. I think it's because he might have though that the people from the wall could have adopted a different language. After all, prior to the titan attacks, the Shingeki world might have been something similar to ours wherein there are various lineages and thus people also speak various languages.

Thanks! And it would be great if you did watch it. It's kinda on the slow side but it's got quite an intriguing plot. Personally, I prefer the manga although the art of the anime is better

I think I'll watch the anime. I've seen some clips and went crazy over how smooth the animation is *A*
and the art is amazing.
Even if the story is slow in the anime, I'd be too busy drooling over graphics to mind~~

Actually when I saw him in the anime, I initially didn't have much of an opinion about him since his appearance was so abrupt though that scene with his dying comrade was really something even then.
But when they started showing him some more, I also started to like him more. And I think I really became attached to his character during that scene in the titan forest wherein he gives his quote to Eren. Funny thing is I didn't agree with how pragmatic he was but I really like how he took a stand in what he said and aaaaah. I should shut up now. Hnnnng.

I first watched the anime until the episode Eren got eaten, I was like, "Whaaaat? The main character got eaten??? What is this anime??" 

That's when I started to read the manga to get a better grasp of the original story, and it was the best decision. (This anime is consuming my life ya know.) I loved the how Isayama build up the fact that he was a clean freak, and then showing the scene where he did not have any hesitation on holding the bloody hand of his comrade. This scene spoke to my heart. And yes, that quote was one of the best. It's just sad about what happened to his squad.

 No go on. It's okay. I love his character, I love him, and I like Hanji Zoe too. The current chapter has no Rivaille in it.. But this manga is awesome, and the next update on August is too faraway... aaaaaaahhhh. Okay I should also stop talking.

Hahaha. When Eren got eaten in the manga, I was like "I don't like him but I kinda wish he didn't get eaten?"" //shot//
I honestly don't really like Eren - mainly because I thought he's kind of a psycho (with him killing those older men in that manner during his childhood)

Ah yes. The fact that he's short adds to his charm too. ; u ;
I think Rivaille has the most amusing quirks out of the whole lot mainly because he's such a serious chara as well.
And yeah. His squad. orz I'm just glad that I didn't get too attached to them since it always sucks when you favorite charas die. (I did end up getting a bit attached to Nanaba though //weeps)

It's kinda sad that Rivaille has much less screen time now due to his injury. I'm kinda afraid that he might get eaten by titans too since he's injured. Hopefully, Isayama won't be too much of a sado to his readers though because I swear that it feels as if Rivaille has the biggest following out of the lot.

Yeah.. Having a favorite actually in SnK is hard.. They can die anytime. //sobs Eren is the first protagonist that I'm quite skeptical about. I sometimes don't believe what he says, and I find him too rash in his decisions. He usually attacks without thinking. 

True. I have no problems with his height and his personality. I love it when he is tsundere/yandere/serious/whatever. haha. Me...  I was also beginning to like Auruo and Petra especially when Eren was deciding on what to do.. I was beginning to see a ray of light then, when they were so happy to have Eren's trust... Yet they.. Ymir should have transformed earlier to avoid the death of Nanaba and the others. 

I surely hope nothing happens within the walls, since Irvin and the others are currently out. The questions I have a piling up every chapter.. Hope one of them clears up by the next ones.

Ah I usually don't like protagonists in shounen manga but Eren is more than that. He's unsettling. I just can't get him because he has all these insane moments.

Ahhh. I quite like Petra too. orz

And well it seems clear now that Ymir doesn't care much about anyone save for Christa, so it makes it realistic that Nanaba and the others still died but... //weeps// I still wanted Nanaba to have more screen time

Also yeah. God. Rivaille can't dieeeeee. ; A ;
