Nefarian, the lord of Blackrock Mountain

Nefarian's known for being a dragon that's also an affably evil scientist, which is a strange combination, but somehow Blizzard makes it work really well. His mind control magic was especially iconic in an encounter where he uses corrupted versions of the player's spells.

The card didn't start as Nefarian, but I realised it fitted the guy perfectly. Plus, it's is such a clean design too. In fact, I'm convinced R&D has to have come up with this design before , but didn't publish it. I can only guess that maybe it's because it's gameplay is not fun enough to justify the design. Or alternatively, I could just have missed it completely.

But bloody hell, it's fun to imagine playing with it.
