And people tell me the Sperrins are boring. Okay so maybe not as pretty as the Ranoch moor waterfall that everyone takes pictures of...also I'm probably the first to photograph this waterfall.
I went for a 9 mile hike up in these hills this spring. It's quite a lonely forgotten place and very difficult to trudge through the heather and moss but the scenes and vast wilderness is worth it.
It was a difficult edit; combined two exposures which I don't normally do.

Hey Andrew, This is on my land, glad you enjoyed your dander through Ashlamaduff (also known locally as Eslin). Some good pictures. If you're out this way again avoid Inver, you'll see it on your map. It's a dangerous bog.

Thanks for letting me know; it's very quiet country up there and not well known to other which is why I wanted to explore and show this forgotten part of the world to other people. I hope it is okay for me to walk there, but as the landowner I will respect your rights and tread lightly or avoid the area if you say so. Do you mean that the terrain underfoot is dangerous? I am a very experienced bogtrotter I can assure you, and a qualified mountain leader to boot
