On a side note, I love Sydri. Maybe/possibly/probably even more than Ori and Nic.

*giggles* I like all three of these guys. They are their father's sons. XD I was actually almost going to ask how he could have known who Emperor Palpatine was when he was younger (since those movies are newer), until I realized that he is just using the currently-known name for the old wrinkly Sith Emperor from the original movies. I love Star Wars references.

You betcha. I'm honestly surprised with how much I like Sydri- normally I get bored/annoyed with his type of character, but not this time. XD

Well, he's one of those genuinely great guys that you have to think hard about before you can come up with one of his faults, and people usually like him and get along well with him. So, I guess normally I'd find his character sort of boring and Sue-ish, but for some reason I really REALLY love Sydri.
Oh dear. Um... if it were a plastic one, they'd whip out their plastic lightsabers and insist on some sort of duel. If it were a real one, they'd beg for a chance to use it.

Yeah, I realized he's actually more or less inspired by my dad... who happens to be pretty awesome too.
In that case, they'd play around with the lightsaber a bit, and then Sydri would show up and ask what they're doing. So then he'd play with it, and they'd see if they could use their (magic-boosted) swords against it. Hilarity and/or chaos would probably ensue. XD

XD I would enjoy seeing that hilarity and/or chaos. Btw, I think I've finally convinced myself to change Riverfox's lightsaber to a generic 'energy sword'. It's the one thing in this universe that isn't mine, and I fear it is limiting people's perception of my characters.

Love how natural you made them act and look in this. Even without words, I'd get what was going on (though it wouldn't be quite as funny). I'm really amazed how quickly you're advancing. I happened to be reading some of your old pages a little while ago and compared them to your current art and was like, 'Wow!'. Keep up the excellent work!
