Freedom is mine.Now is the time, I speak about Chrysalis (the comic isn't out yet, when I drawed this, so please don't judge).
Prison made her desperate. This is maybe the worst thing, what Twilight could do to her. Just imagine, if you would imprisoned in a room for years, and you had no food! Poor Chrysalis' mind is broken a little. This will show itself later. But this is the cause, she signed that contract without a thouth. She would do ANYTHING to get out from that castle. If Sombra would ask her, to marry him, she would say yes (and she will deal the consequences later
). And at the first panel you can see, that Sombra isn't too sure about his plan any more.

I still can't believe Equestria would lock up an entire race against its will. Wouldn't it be easier to just get the Elements of Harmony or Fluttershy to reform her rather than spend millions of bits maintaining the prison system?

You can't reform an entire race. You'd have to befriend them one at a time. Which is kind of stupid.

Wraith is a alien insect/humanoid species from Stargate Atlantis, they drain the life force from humans
I meant that normaly Changelings only drains love, but here they seems to drain there entire life force, and maybe even eat them

(I had a little imagination once, about Chrysalis being a wraith queen with her hive-ships 
Aand... they don't eat them, but I didn't wanted to draw the drained corpses of the guards. Ponies have a wide fandom and I wanted this comic to be acceptable.

Oh, i can definitely see that she's gone off the deep end. I kinda imagined she'd end up being like this after seeing the comic preview. And considering how she was basically disgraced, humiliated, and then imprisoned by Twilight, it's not surprising she became such a broken, feral monster. Especially if she'll do anything to be free, without even considering what will happen afterwards first. Though i can see that Sombra is a little...shocked, surprised.? No, that's not it. I think the more fitting term would be that this wasn't exactly what he expected. But i know he has this taken care of, so he isn't completely worried.

Hmm, going from the comic, I don't think it's even been a year since Chrysalis has been imprisoned. Besides, I don't think it was more that has driven her off the deep end, but rather Twilight becoming a Princess.
Not to mention, it's not like she hasn't been given ANY good. She just refuses to eat it.
Now yeah, we don't know how Chrysalis' issue is gonna end (some pictures I've seen strongely suggest she's gonna break free at the end), so yeah, depending on what happens there, this might end up being a little, I dunno, awkward in hindsight? we'll have to see.

I think she was prisoner for at least one year. And without food, it's a bit long. I know, Twilight tried to give her normal food, but It seems the changelings don't work that way. Remember the wedding-preparations, when she impersonated Cadance? She ate the cookies reluctantly, and later throw them out. So I think she can't eat normal food... or can, it's just not real food for her.
I like the idea, she break out at the end of the comic. This is just my imagination here. I couldn't help myself, I had to draw this tale with Sombra.

Well, actually, I dunno, I'm pretty sure it did say she was given LOVE to eat in the preview.
And it's cool, friend. We'll just have to wait and see.
(ps, not to forget here, NM was in prison for 1,000 years while Chryssie's been about a year at most. I think Luna's got more of a right to complain here, lol)

Oh, I'm fairly certain that you've shown how unstable the Queen's mind is through her speech bubbles. XD And while I have a feeling that she'll be receiving the consequences of her devil's deal soon enough, it's satisfying to see Sombra a little shaken by his new ser--*cough*--partner.
That bottom panel, by the way? Where Chrysalis laughs under the full moon? You nailed it. ^_^
