COD! - Comment Or Die!Well... after reading that issue 12 of the comics I thought there could have been something like this... like if Sam's parents went to get something for her or something (whatever reason just GTFO) Sam would probably want to thank Lara for ..well everything....
Laŕa's probably thinking "Damn... after all I've done this is all I get? I know how Alex must have felt now..."
That's what I tried to do with her expression... she's smiling and all but... it's kinda resigned smile Anyways I was also testing the Depth of Field thing in Blender because up until now I was doing that in Photoshop and it didn't always end up looking good... this isn't perfect either. I think it's maybe TOO blurry... But I don't know maybe that's just me
Then again it was the first time I tried it... it took 3 hours to render with 1024 samples (and still there's noise on Lara's face
) so I didn't feel like redoing it... Sooo yeah that's all I had to say for this

Question. What do you call it when the fandom wants something, and the developers want the same thing, but they just haven't had the opportunity to make it canon yet.

My reason for asking is the developers have admitted since Lara (to my knowledge) has never had a canon love interest in any continuity the character Lara Croft has no established sexuality, and they have found that they find Lara and Sam to be very good couple material and would like to make them a couple if they have the opportunity in the next game (if there is one.), but technically at the moment it has not officially happened.

I don't think we'll ever see that in game. As I was reading on some forums apparently a lot of fans don't want it in the game because they think it's not Tomb Raider-ish to have romance involved in the game. That it shouldn't be what the games are about.
However we COULD see it in comics. Which are canon. And if that happens there may be some hint to it in a game but I don't think it will be big part of the game's story.
Not saying I like it. But that is most likely how it would be if it happened.

I only played like, 20 minutes of the Tomb raider reboot (I'm a big scaredy cat 
As much as I love all the big fantasy stories and all that, I actually adore more casual looking scenes like this, gives it that feeling of realism and somehow that just makes it feel more natural and nice to look at, like a scene you could see any old day ^_^
Overall, I love it ^_^

Yeah, I have seen some gameplay stuff from later on which looks pretty standard, but I remember being really freaked out by that little cabin near the start, I was on edge all the time after that X3
