But! I am very proud to have completed a commission with the largest number of individual little pieces I've ever done.

This. Is. Amazing. I'm in love with this piece. The skill you have with cut paper is incredible. The amount of emotion and movement you've captured is so stunning. FFXII fanart is less common than art from some of the other games, and yet the designs are quite beautiful (albeit complicated, as you pointed out). The little detail in Fran's lace-like (WHY?) armor is beautifully executed. Bravo!
I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice on my own work, even if it is pretty different.

Thank you very much for the kind comment! ^_^ I'm glad you like my portrayal of the (exceedingly complicated but exceptionally beautiful) character and costume designs. (It was a great moment when I figured out I could just use lace for Fran's armor, instead of cutting out all those... tiny... little... pieces....)
As for your work, I'm really impressed by all the different styles you've tried out! My favorite was "Gaia", where you combined several different materials for some wonderful effects (that inkwork looks so cool!), but I also really enjoyed your more minimalist pieces, like "Pervade" and your posters for Open Mike night. Advice-wise, I'd just say to keep working, keep trying different things, and keep looking into different combinations of materials you enjoy.

Lots of thanks for the peek! I thought I was doing too much Black and White so I decided to add some markers, which are bold. When I use colors, I try to be forward with the usage. There's nothing wrong with Black Grey and White. But just a splash of crimson or blue seems to make the piece pop just a bit more. I hope to graduate to more colors and shades within the following year.

I cannot believe this is made of paper! The detailing is absolutely phenomenal, Penelo's lace and the leg armor stuff on Fran and Ashe is ridiculously intricate! I am completely in awe of your patience!
