I am back from Comic-Con!!! 
I know a lot of people couldn't make it simply because of the distance, cost, and the fact that tickets sold out a long time ago so here is all the slides that I presented at my panel

Wish I could be better, but partially its my own fault. Spend my nights watching youtube and playing video games instead of drawing. And my days are spent as a student (computer science major).

Thank you. I've followed you on and off for years and this is the first time that I've read this and, as others have said, it is incredibly helpful and inspiring. It helped me formed ideas on how to incorporate all of the things that I want to do in life together and hopefully I'll be able to make it happen with some hard work. Again, thank you for that.

Every time I think what I do is not enough, I come here and read this over and over again. I'm 16 and when I show any draw for my family, they just ignore it, so I WANT to grow up and show what I got for the world and You always help. Thanks <33

This world would be a sad place without you Yuumei, you've served as my inspiration as long as I could possibly remember. You inspire others to reach their dreams even though it seems like a fantasy. Sadly I'm being sent off to med school ;n; And once I get sucked into the medical field, I'll be too busy to enjoy art...probably never touching my tablet again. But for the last year of my freedom, I'm glad I had such a wonderful inspiration that continues to share her love and talents with the world around her.

The "I want to inspire as others have inspired me" part made me cry.
It's exactly the same thing that I want to accomplish (though I have to practice a lot more in future). And you, already accoplished that. Probably not everyone gets inspired by you. But I am ^^

Still, the reality's very different...I think some people make it because they have visions and real talent (like you have) but there's also some people who become 'famous' all because of luck, and the people who actually have talent stay unknown. Really harsh to say it like that, but I've noticed a lot of this lately....
I've been on dA since I was 12 (now I'm turning 18) and I have still stayed unknown. Maybe because I lack of talent, or I haven't found the right concept yet. Sometimes I just feel like giving up....I would love to become a comic artist, but I feel like nowadays if you even want to get yourself a publisher, you have to be already known in the internet or something....: D

I truly love your art work so much and the stories you share! I hope to inspire my artist friend and encourage her to put more of her art work out there and be less afraid. I dont know, it may be weird, but if you are willing to give her a shout she could use it! She's a super awesome person but can be shy and very insecure about her art and I want her to make some more friends in the art community who can help her and just be encouraging to her as artists themselves = ) Just let me know if you are.
And Even if you don't, this was awesome to read and I am going to show her this tomorrow! = ) Thank u soooo much for sharing this.

i really want to become better at these stuffs and earn and something like that.. good for you who started at early age..
im just starting now learning stuffs and such.. well too old now i guess and nothins happening to me *kills self..

Hello! This is very helpful and it's obvious this took you a lot of time. I, myself, cannot attend your gatherings because of the distance, and the cost (and the visa). But, even if this account of mine is a new one, I've been in DA for quite some time, and you're a true reference. It's always nice to read your opinions about Art, as well as your stories... I thank you for showing us a bit more about yourself. It is, indeed, very helpful.

After reading all off your word, I got little more inspired to actually begin to draw again after 5, maybe 6 years with art block.
I have been a big fan of yours for ages, and I remember when you posted 1000 word. I can't relate to that story, but I cried like a river. Because you put so much feeling in all of your creations that touch people deep down.

Didn't finish reading this ,but I reached a point where I have to comment and ask :
Your 16-years-old drawings are way better than mine ,I'm 28 ,and to be honest ,I only started drawing anime style about 5 or 6 years ago . When I see talented young artists like you ,I can't prevent myself from thinking , Am I too late to improve ?
I don't intend to use art as a profession ,I'm already a dentist ,I just want to learn how to draw the things like I see them in my head . I keep feel that my talent is failing me ,and start to question if I have wasted my life and maybe I should have practiced drawing more sooner .
Do you have any advice that can help me ?
