Description So here's the result of my long and tedious work, because I'm a perfectionist bordering on the masochistic. Anyway, may I present you... the fully modelled and detailed Brantopoz Tsuoff! This is just the outside view with only a partial look into the cargo hold and a bit of the cockpit interior visible, but it's all there, believe me. All the insides (as far as the crew can access) are there, from the cockpit to the friggin' bathroom!

This scene takes place on the tundra-like planet of Drusch Toroj, formerly Waj'Kan territory, now occupied by the Tiblicci. It's a cold far-off planet where humans are still allowed to trade.

This particular ship is owned by Dio, a female Tech Hunter. She and her crew are loading up some heavy machinery intended for another colony. Dio is the one with the black motorcycle outfit. On the right is her Flight Engineer keeping an eye on the pump uplifting hydraulic fluid, to the left is her loadmaster and standing in the cargo hold is the pilot (Dio herself is a rather crappy pilot and she prefers to boss her crew around).

Anyways, hope you enjoy! It's all done in Sketchup with a little paintshop post-production work. UV-68 Loadmaster was done by Go visit his DA account for some more serious kickass Sketchup work (among other digital and hand-drawn kickass work).

nice simple hull design, large cargo doors, built in cargo handling gear..and great visibility for landing on less advanced star ports...just the ticket for someone who needs a ship and doesn't want all the bells and whistles.

Yep, that's basically the whole design concept of this ship!

Your attention to detail lends this alot of credibility.

I remember this from scifi meshes a few years back (at leat I think it was). Always really liked the work-day feel of it. Glad I tracked down who made it! Well Done.

Hey, thanks, I really appreciated it. Anybody from scifimeshes is more then welcome here! I wanted to upload a lot more, but the troubles with the gallery section prevent me to put up new stuff…

Awesome work. You really did the whole inside too? That unbelieveble (I believe you nevertheless ).
I also really like this yellow cargo-bot-caterpillar-craft thing in the cage.

But I donΒ΄t like cellshading that much.

Thank you very much. Yep, it took me a while, but the insides are all done. You can check it out here [link] if you want.

The UV-68 loadmaster was done by , a friend of mine and true SketchUp master. You can see the model better here: [link]

I know it looks like cell shading, but it really isn't. It's just what Sketch Up looks like. Still have to learn to render properly...

Why donΒ΄t you use an external renderer like Maxwell. ItΒ΄s also available for sketchup and it renders realistic like photography

Ywander In reply to sicklizard [2010-01-25 14:34:05 +0000 UTC]

It's just a matter of finding the time to learn a new skill like that. I'm moving into my new house in february and still have a lot of painting and stuff to do, so it'll take som time. Soomer or later, though, I'll start experimenting!

I love all the little details here, like the guy sitting on the barrels, and what I assume is a safety notice on the inside of the ship near (what I assume is) the crane controls.

I'd like to see more of the interior of this ship, if you wouldn't mind submitting some more images! I'm making a ship from the inside too, there's just not enough attention paid to interior details these days!

Ywander In reply to CalamityJones [2009-06-05 20:13:23 +0000 UTC]

Well, actually I made an animation (sort of walkthrough) of the entire interior. It needs some post production, but it's definitely coming! Thanks for the compliment. Oh, and spot on: they're indeed the crane controls & a warning sign!!

are you gonna export it some day and render it in 3ds max or something? that would be cool lovely model! I really like how rhe engines are hooked to the body

Ywander In reply to master3d [2008-01-08 14:42:44 +0000 UTC]

Thanx for the praise! Well, I’m probably not going to do it in 3ds max. Frankly because I don’t know how. I only just started to discover the wonders of 3d modelling in google's sketchup. I am thinking about rendering it in kherkytea, which gives some pretty amazing results. If you want to see it rendered, check out the following render / composition from . [link]

Thank you, thank you. And an external rendering is definietly in the plans somewhere. As of yet, I still have other obligations to take care of and after those, I'll definitely look into rendering!

Oi! Where the flying frag are you going with my Loadmaster? Put it back down right now! Oi!

One hell of a design mate! Fav! You know I love it. Great design features. Great detailling. I've already had the privilege to check out the insides of this baby and was blown away. This crate packs everything but the kitchen sink. Amazing. Btw, the perspective in this image works well. Good angle.

Now fire up the 8-track and thunder away towards the stars!
