The Ophanim, the lowest class of angel. Anyone who looks directly at the wheels of eyes will be burnt by holy fire. The rotation of its wheels controls the flow of time around it, if the wheels slow down so does everything else around it and vice versa. Weak to hellfire and other celestial powers

From what I heard though Ophanim, also known as Thrones, are actually the lowest class in the highest order of angels, the first sphere, and thus pretty high-ranking! The lowerst class in the lowest order are just the plain old angels everyone knows! May just be a different hierarchy-concept than the mainstream christian one i know tho, haha (look at me a mythology nerd!)

Ah true, but for the sake of simplicity I might just stick with the 3 seraph, chereb, thrones. The other lower tiers might be much and there isn't much description wise, but I'll think about including them depending on how things go.
Also some like archangel is supposed to be on the lower tiers too, but for this version was thinking of Michael being one plus a seraph

Simplistic, but magnificent. The Halo is kind of redundant with the rings of eyes, and the wings are kinda too big and not enough in numbers.
Those aside, the animation is smooth.
Maybe you can do the otherside next. Demons with inverted wings might look unique

Thx! The number of wings will increase for the other higher rank angels. 4 for cherubs and 6 for serpahs
Demons I might stick with the classic bat wing look but I might try inverted wings just to see how it looks

I remember this legend. It says that the first person to have seen an angel saw a person glowing inside multiple rings with eyes in them. But it was a bit darker. Nice work.
