Notes:
Alright, I admit it: Walt is my love letter to Shovel Knight. His first name comes from my grandfather, and his last from the famous Minecraft mod pack; his hair color and style was inspired by Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson (one of the more famous contributors of Shovel Knight's Kickstarter campaign) with a ponytail in the rear for a Colonial-era feel. Pretty much everything else, though, comes from Shovel Knight: not just the obvious references like his Strife Specibus, battle themes, and class; but also more subtle references like the Middle English, the personality and interests, his Fetch Modus, his in-game planet, and even the Fleur-de-lis on his shirt (which is an emblem used by many medieval knights). There's even going to be another reference through his relationship status, but I won't put it down since it would spoil both what happens after the collab as well as Shovel Knight's ending.
Homestuck concepts and locations created by, and belong to, Andrew Hussie.
All things Shovel Knight are copyright of Yacht Club Games, including the awesome music made by Jake "Virt" Kaufman.

(ive been reading Flatland and it uses Old English (thou, etc.) and always laughed when the narrator uses "methinks". I read it in a Stitch voice all the time.)
