Description
While the Aetherians entered Mobius as Chao, they can actually take just about any form they wish, and these are the preferred forms of the two Greater Spirits when travelling throughout the Sonic multiverse, particularly during the later chapters of The Wanderer as well as 's Freezing Darkness storyline.

Often called "the Mother Spirit" in the folklore of the Outer Realm, Solara is not only the source of all "light mana" (positive emotions and constructive/defensive skills and magic) but is also the one who made the six Elemental Spirits. Being the embodiment of God's grace, she does not feel hatred or anger; a peacemaker by nature, she will attempt to befriend all who meet her and will never start or participate in a fight of any kind. In addition to forming unbreakable barriers and healing any ailment, she possesses the gift of prophesy, enabling her to see what someone or something can become instead of just what they are now.

Her primary form of aid is making Elemental Crystals and Light Rings, which are basically Power Rings that provide only a speed and defense boost or enable solely defensive Chaos Powers like Chaos Control, Chaos Guard, Chaos Regeneration, etc. However, in times of dire need, she can turn into her Wisp form and enter one's body directly; doing this on her own will cause whoever she entered to undergo an automatic Super Transformation, while doing this with the six Elemental Spirits will induce a Hyper Transformation.

Feared and respected in numerous worlds and lord of the shadows, Skugga is the source of all "dark mana" (negative emotions and destructive/offensive skills and magic) and is perhaps the most misunderstood of the Aetherian Spirits. Often mistaken for a high-level demon, Skugga is actually the embodiment of God's law, having no tolerance for evil or immorality in any form; a purist at heart and a stickler for the rules of both heaven and nature, receiving his praise is a rare honor, and none of his threats should ever be taken lightly. He knows every attack, curse, and summon possible, and can use the shadows to make illusions, weapons, or even soldiers to fight for his allies, even being able to take control of a shadow under the control of an enemy (*cough* Noroi *cough*); in addition, Skugga has full mastery of "the Third Eye", an advanced skill used by experienced dark mages in the Outer Realm that allows the user to see things as they truly are, looking through any disguise or obscurement imaginable.

His primary form of aid is making Elemental Crystals and Shadow Rings, which are basically Power Rings that provide only an attack and stamina boost or enable solely offensive Chaos Powers like Chaos Punishment, Chaos Spear, Chaos Blast, etc.; on occasion, he will also aid allies by summoning one of two legendary beasts out of the shadows: the Leviathan (the Serpent of Destruction, like the Kraken or Perfect Chaos) or the Behemoth (the Beast of Judgement, often described as an enormous Hodag <www.hodaglandscaping.com/image… . However, in times of great urgency or rage, he will turn into his Wisp form and enter one's body directly; doing this alone will cause whoever he entered to undergo a Dark/Darkspine Transformation, while doing this with the six Elemental Spirits will induce Unlimited Colors Mode (an unstoppable juggernaut that defeated Dr. Eggman in the console version of Sonic Colors).
