PowerGirl was patorling over the suburbs of metropolis, when her supersenses picked up a young woman trying to flag her down. Upon landing the woman explained she was in possesion of an unmarked package and asked PowerGirl to check it out.

The lead lining of the unassuming box rendered PowerGirl's x-ray vision useless. Left with no other recourse PowerGirl opened the box. To her horror was a chunk of Kryptonite waitting for her. Overcome by a wave of nausia and weakness, PowerGirl crumbled to her knees. As the young woman giggled gleefully.

"Do you like it?" The Woman asked "I just picked it up. Can you believe it actually just fell out of the sky? Right in my backyard!"

Well my first rendering of 2012. I figured I would start off with a new series. Basically a tounge in cheek aproch to Kryptonite Peril Where PowerGirl and probably other members of the Superfamily will encounter Kryptonite in odd unlikely places. Such as this, where a random woman, not even a criminal has kryptonite and can't resist using it on PowerGirl.

The inspiration for this came from a Role Playing Game book Mutants & Masterminds. In the core rulebook there's a passage talking about invunerability and how there will always be some very rare item the hero is vunerable to and despite it scaresness everyone seems to have it. Let me know what you think and if you have ideas by all means let me know. Enjoy
