An orckish/barbaric LARP armor, done a year ago, I'm currently selling it on my Etsy : [link]Made of 3mm thick veg tanned leather with various scraps of fur coated suede leather on the front, to add to the mix and match look.
Suitable for a person with an average buildt, between 5'5" (1m65) and 6'2" (1m88) tall.
The armor fastens really simply, just by using a belt, so it is quite adapted to NPCs characters who need to dress up quickly, or even for lone PCs who don't have a squire to dress them up.
The right pauldron is removable and the shoulder stays with a strap buckle to wich you can attach other arm guards if you like.
Tested in LARP only one week-end, very sturdy and comfy.

The orkish leather armor pattern is free to use by anyone, as stated in the deviation description.

I am just getting into leather-working and your larp armor is inspiring! I really like the battle-worn, rustic, feel of this piece. It looks as if it has kept its owner safe through countless battles!

Thanks, it was completely done with scraps of leather at a moment I couldn't get more.
Scarcity made me improvise and I used a flea market coat to do the belly piece.
The battle worn patina was obtained by hammering the leather with a wood mallet before bleaching it with acetone, a technique discovered by mistake, after knocking over a bottle over and trying to clean my mess. It was also distressed a great deal by using a machete to simulate slashes (quite the funniest part to do).
That armor is also mostly assembled with leather straps because I had neighbors whom could not stand the noise I made while hammering rivets.
