Description
This was a project I did for my Adv. Drawing class this past semester--we were to create a fully valued picture using only a 9B pencil. Since 9B is the darkest pencil type out there, I went for something with lots of black. I'm exceptionally pleased with this, except perhaps with the wings. I wish I had found a reference for those, but I didn't... oh, well. I still love her.Related content

Why haven't I seen this before...? It's amazing... especially the wings. They're small, but that gives me the impression that she is a fallen angel of sorts (Well, duh, dark angel...). It's beautiful.

tis a beute'. and suggestions on the wings - bigger - if she be flying on them she going to die, also, wings go in layers, try typing gryphons into google images and theres some awesome wings, but i like how its like she's cowering...very good

i think the wings work. i dunno, working with lead that soft the only black thing would be my fingers and the smudges on my face
