........Okay, YOU come up with a better title.This is the Void Dragon. THE Void Dragon. Only one. Moderates the Void, its inhabitants, etc.... Genderless, doesn't TECHNICALLY exist, the oldest being in my pitiful little mind. My black markers will never forgive me for this piece.
Watercolor, markers, aaaaand colored pencil for something that you cannot even see so it doesn't matter. Character and image are MINE, steal and die BITCH.

Neither. It's actually much harder to explain than that. It's sort of like a hell for worlds. All worlds have a soul, yes? An essence. And when a world ends, it is added to the kingdom of the Void. Its native species are all given representatives there. It lies between all worlds, and so if one tries to travel by any supernatural means between said worlds, they are bound to encounter the Void.

I agree with the first comment, it reminds me of a phoenix as well. But. An undead one. ^__^
Or maybe it's just dead. Or something.
Anyway, I really like this. Especially the neck and head and how they stand out because they have detail and the wings don't. It is just totally rockin'.
The splatters in the background make it look like it KILLED SOMETHING. Whee!

The Void Dragon doesn't really kill things so much as it makes them cease to exist. But I was just having fun with splattering my watercolors all over the place, really. I want to take a digital photo of this and replace the scan for two reasons. One, the scan butchered it. Two, it was too big for my scanner and I didn't feel like splicing, so this is only a bit of the image.
