yeah, this one specifically has been stolen again and again - it's all over the internet. even the university of michigan put it on one of their blogs without my permission, though at least they link back to me. and i figured i had to put the watermark on TOP of the rainbow just so it ruins it a little :/

I'm finding some but they all are linked back to me...at least in the first 10 pages. How do you know if they aren't linked? That is the search method, right? The name?

yeah, unfortunately, i don't know how to search when they DON'T have the name - someone told me to put my name within the name of each file, as most thieves don't bother to change a file name, but so far i haven't been able to find anything with my name IN the filename. if you pay some kind of copyright company, they'll embed a copyright invisibly in your image file, and can somehow track every photo thus imbedded, but that has a monthly or yearly fee, and i haven't looked at any service like that in YEARS so i don't know how it works or who does it anymore. the name 'Digimark' comes to mind - maybe that was one of the companies?

I've heard about using Tineye [link] as a search engine (?) you have to belong to it but it can compare your image to everything out there...I think that's how it works...
