Way back in 2004, I posted this CG of Snake VS Gray Fox: [link]Surprisingly, it's still my most viewed / faved deviation. To thank everyone for this, here's a revamp of the CG from the ground up.
I can't tell how many hours i've spent on this one, but there's a lot

I think the term blast from the past really says alot for this, I can recall back in 2004 seeing the original for this on megaman network MMBB board, interesting to see it prettied up further/improved on , the time you put into it shows and benefits from it

I remember finding this image ages ago before I even made a profile on deviant. This has got to be one of my favourite MGS inspired artwork other than from of course the master himself Yoji Shinkawa. Love your ability to demonstrate lighting effects in photoshop from the gun's bullets reflecting off of grey fox's katana. Btw you should really check out sometime my MGS artwork and tell me what you think. Love to hear constructive criticism. Also are you a concept artist in the games industry? Anyway keep up the excellent work. Looking forward to hearing from you.

If you haven't go play the 4th. The refined control schemes made it much more enjoyable to play than the others, IMO

This is amazing. Great work on it. I like how it's evolved from the first version to add more tension to the scene while keeping all the action. The first also made it look as if the Gray Fox was the one on the ropes while this one shows that Snake is the desperate one. A great change by just changing the lighting.
