When at school, Chiyo is a hard-working student with very dependable and mature qualities. She doesn't hold casual conversations well in public or in groups, which causes others to believe she's either shy or cold: In actuality it is neither! Chiyo was just born a person of few words and lives quietly by choice. She finds it hard to see her classmates as potential friends thus usually speaks to people when it's school related or if they've spoken to her first. Despite this, she willingly helps a peer in need to the best of her abilities.

Outside of her education and far, far away from all the others, Chiyo hides all of the hate she keeps from within. While this hatred is not directed at anyone, it is most prominently herself. Being an illegitimate child, born with demonic blood powers and the ability to see yokai no less-- She doesn't see herself as a special miracle at all. Chiyo had long since given up on trying to be a normal child. Her early meeting with harsh reality led her to grow into a responsible, obedient girl. Though, over the years, carrying multiple burdens became one of Chiyo's biggest habits... When she finds someone she can trust, and she's sworn to keep that to a minimum, Chiyo can get very expressive!

* Her ability of blood manipulation is derived from Mirai Kuriyama from Kyoukai no Kanata! However unlike the bespectacled maiden Mirai Kuriyama, Chiyo can't spray her blood nor does it have corrosive/ acidic-like properties. She just has the ability to shape and shift her own blood. NOTE: She can shape the blood into weapons or things other than a sword!

* She owns a lot of head accessories; they mainly seem to be bows/ headbands.

* Sometimes she sleeps outside, like in parks or isolated alleyways. She insists hotels are a waste of money and that she is perfectly capable of defending herself against shady people.
