Tried out a new coloring technique that gives the character a more cell shaded look though I'm not sure if the result is a change for the better or not.
The pose it self was a little tricky as I had to take into account the different material she is made of compared to flesh and fur and this in turn how it could hamper her ability to move in certain ways.
The joint design of her limbs have been tweaked slightly to show greater range of movement. while the older design was passable, I began to realize the placement of some of the components for the joints would hamper her ability to bend and flex in a natural, effective way, hence the redesign. Her proportions have also been shortened slightly to match better with her design in the comics, particularly how she was drawn by Spaz and Harvo in the mecha madness special

I think that Ian Flynn took this idea and ran with it so now Sally Acorn is in fact a robot in the comics again he must have a DA account or something

Wow, you did a very good job on this! The lighting and shine on her body is great, I love those eyes, the look of her face is just perfect, and the grass and the tree stump looks so real! Good job! ^^

The subtle shine on her limbs is very nice, and the texture of the wood of the stump is very nice.

Great picture as always. Two criticisms before I pour on the accolades. Based on the viewer's perspective, I think her right breast should be closer to her left due to foreshortening. The scenery looks really good, but given the cel-shading and cartoon nature of the subject matter, I wonder if a more cartoonish background would be more appropriate. Both the character and the background are rendered well and together they don't look bad, I just think less contrast between styles could improve it.
Now onto the positives.
I like the shiny polished metal look you achieved with value. It really brings the character to life and helps emphasize her personality. She clearly isn't a robot slave. The color and lighting bring out her cheerful (despite her predicament) nature. She looks beautiful without being obnoxiously sexy which is hard to pull off. Finally the updated joint design adds a nice artificial element to her design while still maintaining the basic Mobian look. The elbow design screams VOOT to me, but that is likely a coincidence.
Finally, despite the contrasting background, I really like the blurred out blades of grass in the foreground. They help bring the picture to life.

I've always liked your Robian Sally designs.. And this one is no exception.
I especially like the warm filter you've used on the colouring with this one, a nice contrast to the cools used in your 'Moonlight Stroll' illustration.

Don't count out the ravages of age just yet. Parts will need replacing, rust wiped off, her paint may fade or something.
She'd probably step down if she felt that Mobius was no longer comfortable with an immortal ruler.

It's always wonderful to see more of your Robian art; to me, your hands down one of the absolute best and your personal flair makes it uniqe yet creative. The joint redesign is a nice touch, it really does help make her look like she can flex more naturaly.

I've been on the fence about Robians for a pretty long time. And I personally I didn't think your art would sway that, even if you did draw my favorite character. I was wrong.

Well I've been collecting the comics for years now and for the longest time I saw the Robotization process as ungodly creepy. So I was kinda prejudice against Robians. But now they're not as bad.
